oh, the disabled rights movement was always about asking abled people to stop assaulting us by a) forcibily pushing our wheelchairs, b) grabbing our bodies to “guide” us, c) otherwise ignoring our consent to grab our bodies or medical equipment. the disabled rights movement has always been about our right to exist, and about abled society no longer viewing disability as an innate state of helplessness.
weve always recommended you learn the difference between a disabled people minding their own business, and someone who is actually asking for help as well as consenting to it.
