Violet Evergarden is not focused on romance but on self discovery. Identity Crisis, Anxiety, Trauma, Cluelessness of the meaning of one's existence or the cluelessness of what path to take to move forward. These are just some of the common dilemmas that most millenials face nowadays.

This anime allows the viewers to take a look of the different perspectives, not just the direct pov of the victim but also the perspective of the people around you. It will show you empathy how empathy works and how it is such an important trait that anyone should have.

Animation: 5/5

Overall, this anime is one of the animes that have best animations that I have seen and the character development is very good. The story telling might be a bit slow at first for other people's liking but I actually like it because it the story telling compliments the character development for this one.
