Soft male friendships in kids’ animation still feel surprisingly rare. I think a lot about specificity in storytelling, and how “diverse” stories aren’t always about big, sweeping concepts. Sometimes it’s just about exploring emotional dynamics that don’t get a lot of attention through a lens you don’t see through often. My take on the show still kept their relationship relatively goofy (lol), but with a little more heart and dimension. " -- Austin Faber

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit 2025 Collab!

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Epic Mickey’s release in North America, as well as a general love for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, We recruited 23 artists to create their own unique interpretations of original Oswald the Lucky Rabbit shorts.
