Well I mean it wasn't good 😬

Clancy was like . Pretty much canonically being tortured and abused for 6 whole years. She was either drugged or smeared or dissociating or some horrible combination of the three for most of it. That's. That's a long time. They were gonna kill her on that submarine, clancy herself even thought so. She was kept isolated and deprived of food and water and basic comforts for most if not all of those 6 years with no hope of escape or rescue and forced into little outfits and forced to sing and dance and lie and they changed her hair and her name and tried to kill whatever spark still festered in her. They used her own songs and words against her. And it worked. Kind of. She definitely was not the same afterwards.

She was "known" in Dema, and they used that against her to break her and hurt her and make an example of her, showing her off to the City like. Here. Is this your hero? This shining beacon and beautiful burning star and proud and defiant exception? Look at what we've done to (her). (She's) so much happier now . No chances.

(And like . I think we skirt around it and that's like. Fine and I don't want to get too graphic or gross here but like man I don't know she was definitely being . taken advantage of. She wasnt safe. She was being dolled up and paraded around as the bishops lapdog and mouthpiece and plaything, an object and reward for them and those who were to be Glorified. They were using her in more ways than one. She was not safe. She was not ever safe.)

The Torchbearer and Keons can only do so much. Torch isn't tangibly there and Keons is outnumbered and unpopular. Any moment of comfort or respite was fleeting and few and far between. I do think Torch physically made it in the walls at least Once during those 6 years, but was ultimately unsuccessful and had to flee without her.

I don't think she really interacted with any. Living person for that time either. I think there were some crew on GDD who were living people but most everyone she directly interacted with was a Vessel. (Devorah "woman with bucket" Riaghain remains an outlier she was just doing whatever on that set . She didn't interact w Clancy directly but she was Very alive and doing recon and trying to get. Someone else 🐦out. Try and stop her dipshits!!!)
