My Sunday Ride crossing Tanzania started with a nasty accident but I came out with minor injuries, went to see "mama wa kukanda" then had to get additional medication from a dospencing chemist. Saturday Chronicals. I cut short my miles/kms target short due to security concerns. I am told there is a place called Bwawani that is our "Mai Mahiu" equivalent at night, it has a forest called Mwigu, that forest is the real Mai Mahiu deal. So I stopped early Saturday and started late Sunday(6am) I have started being conscious of my security after hearing stories. For example today e while having breakfast I overheard the locals talking about how they just killed some two thugs who had hijacked a boda boda.
