“Weeeeelllllll,” Rachel drew out each syllable with a melodic voice, her smirk turning devious, “Would you like an actual drink? Coke and rum go really well together and you don’t necessarily taste the alcohol.” The blonde withdrew her hand from Max’s shoulder and placed it on the other side of her cup, gripping her drink between her two hands. A lot of the vortex club members, Victoria specifically, had mentioned how much they disliked Max’s faux quirky bullshit but admitted Rachel found it a bit endearing. And it was something that Rachel wanted to corrupt – just a little.
Max was a little caught off guard, and thought it over. On one hand, her older brother would be so annoyed if her first drink wasn’t with him. On the other hand, she didn’t really have a reason not to. It wasn’t like she had a moral aversion to underage drinking or anything, she’d just never really thought to try it- especially after seeing how other kids acted when they got drunk. But Rachel was a nice girl, and Max trusted her well enough. “Sure, I guess I’ll give it a try.” What’s the worst that can happen?
