Usually I don't take the time to make long post like this essentially because my english level is kinda bad and I'm really afraid that people misunderstand me cuz I use a wrong word or cuz my sentence doesn't make a sense. Also this blog is supposed to be dedicated to support characters in OW but you know why ? Whatever~

It's my blog after all, it's still related to OW and...it's also important for me so sorry in advance (again) for my bad english.

Let's talk about...everything related to this short animation "Reunion" and the new hero, Ashe (and B.o.b....gosh this omnic is cute asf).

First thing, Ashe.

Tbh...the first time I watch the short animation, the first time I see her, I was already in love. Yeah I'm weak but com'on you have to admit that her design is pretty cool~ I had watched the short live on Twitch and the hype was real and I admit that under the influence of excitement, I had put my critical mind aside.

I admit...there are some problems with Ashe and her background.

I regret that we have a pretty lady again. Of course she's gorgeous and all and as pansexual woman, I appreciate beautiful character like her but...yeah...she's a gang leader right ? I regret that she doesn't really have any injuries or scars on her face for exemple. Naturally you can be a gang leader and want to take care of yourself with (heavy) make up, no problem with that but...still~

I'm not really okay after reading her backstory too. Like really ? She founded Deadlocks ? With Jesse (who was maybe 15/16 yo at this period) ? Yeeaaaah I think we need more elements...for the moment, I'm not really convince even I quite like the idea of the rich girl who was always alone during her childhood and who wanted to create her own "family" and I like the fact that Jesse may have brought her joy like a brother could have done.

Because yeah for me, they are like a brother and a sister...ok maybe in the """worst""" case, they banged together and Ashe still have feelings for Jesse.

And what ?

Also, maybe I'm quite naive and maybe I'm kinda blind because I'm a little bit aromantic, I can't really make a fucking difference between friendship and love cuz Idc buuut I didn't really see any clues that really indicated that they were in relationship.

Okaaaaay Ashe has kept a picture of Jesse and herself together but sometimes...you have to accept that a female and male characters can also be only just friends ? Please ?? As I say, my headcanon is Ashe consider McCree like her brother, like almost the only and the first person who's really caring about her...her first "family".

So even if she's not going to become my favourite OW character (Moira ftw, you're my #1 gurl 💜), I think she's still a cool hero~ I really love the fact that her and Bob make a great duo and if we forget the lore thing, I think she's gonna be fun to play.

...and well don't forget main support friends...she's still one more dps who's gonna spam the 'X' button 🙃

I need to talk about Echo too because I'm really intrigued by her. She was on the first concept art for OW and I'm still wondering why McCree had her "key". Btw I looooove how sweet he was with her~ I just like this side of Jesse.

He can be a thug, a charmer, a salty dude on a mission (/cough// cf. Retribution //cough/), a joker but thanks to this short animation, we see that he’s also and most importantly a caring man.
