Watching them on TV and remembering how surreal they are. Bright green birds with red beaks, screeching from the trees all year round. They'd sit there in the winter sun gleaming like leaves that had come out too early. In summer, unless you look, you just catch them zipping overhead from treetop to treetop. I WILL go back!

I don't remember sleeping even though I definitely have. There was a dream; I was trying to exterminate a giant devil bug before he ate my last life/soul. Imagine it like a computer game - you're frantically shooting at it - and that's it! Except your life actually ends. The devil bug can best be pictured as the highest genus from Evolution. The red one. With a voice.
