I love “realistic body proportion and dialed back from early 90s style” Jotaro Kujo because it puts a lot into perspective. When we see Jotaro in that OG araki style, we like “damn why tf they letting Jotaro call his mama a bitch” and “how tf he go to college” but you see a more grounded Jotaro Kujo and everything makes sense.

Like seeing this makes seeing Jotaro’s evolution in all the Parts make more sense

But if you got the OG SDC era of Jotaro Kujo’s portrayal in your mind it’s jarring

Revised SDC Jotaro Kujo just makes more aesthetic sense to me tbh. Like I got love for Araki’s OG style but I’ll always like when all the characters start not looking like 80s action hero characters.

Seeing Jotaro’s old design revised in the later Parts really puts everything about Jotaro into perspective like it’s hard to buy the whole “Jotaro is being edgy because he’s a teenager acting like teenagers do” part of SDC Jotaro when he’s drawn like a body builder but you really grasp that when he’s drawn more realistically.

Also, like revised SDC Jotaro seems more like the type to purposefully modify his school uniform to look cool and edgy. Whereas I don’t get those vibes from OG SDC Jotaro.
