There were so many amazing albums this year, it’s almost unfair for me to narrow down my list to only 10. Rihanna, Beyonce, Zayn, the Chainsmokers, twenty one pilots, Lukas Graham, DNCE, Urban Rescue, Gavin DeGraw, Rend Collective; these are just a few of the many artists that produced outstanding music this year, impacting me both sonically and personally. I couldn’t start my countdown without first acknowledging this; because I didn’t want their works of art and the imprint they’ve made on me to go unrecognized. This list was even harder to compile compared to last year’s, mainly due to the fact that I was continually entranced by new music at every corner. Whether they’ve given me small moments or consistent remembrances, each album on my list this year has affected me in ways I never expected. And for that, I’m confident I will continue to lean on these songs even after 2016.
