You had been stuck in this thing long enough to know a few rules.

In your first timeline, you had casually been seeing John MacTavish. Honestly, it was more of a I just don't want to be alone after my last relationship hell. He knew you knew. It was chill. Till you dreamed about him dying. Till that dream became a reality. Till the night of his funeral, you woke up five years in the past in a hospital. You joined the military. You saved him. Then you dreamed about Simon dying. Simon, who had defeated you when you first joined. Simon, who noticed you were not eating. You tried to save him. You failed.

The next time you woke up, it was the same hospital. But things were just slightly off. Soap did not have an accent, and it genuinely creeped you the hell out. This time you saved soap. Then Ghost. Then you dreamed about Kyle. You and Kyle always butted heads. You died trying to save him.

Hospital. Military. Hybrids? Save. Save. Save. Fail. You watched Captain Price wither away when his flame went out. You cried and cried and woke up in that damn hospital.

Ghost. Price. Ghost. Soap. Soap. Kyle. Price. Ghost. Kyle. Kyle. Kyle. You. Gaz. Price. Soap. Price.

Every time one of them died, so did you. Now you knew them better than they probably knew themselves. Every verse. You tried different careers, different strategies. Nothing ever stopped the cycle.

Last night, you dreamed about the current Price getting killed in his own home. So you started your plan. In your dream, Price worked late, so you just needed to get to his house before him. Easy enough. You hated Soap's current girlfriend because she was cheating on him, and you couldn't prove it. So in front of everyone, you caused a scene where she smacked you hard enough to bruise. Price sent you home to rest, and she accidentally admitted she cheated while you were arguing with her. Next part was simple enough, get the key from the birdhouse in his back yard and enter through the window on the second floor because the man is a freak with locks. Then clear the house.

Unknown to you, the reason Price had worked late in your dream was to keep an eye on you. He was worried because you never seemed to talk. Ghost had raised concerns about never seeing you eat. Gaz had said you would get a far away look in your eyes sometimes. Soap said you were really sweet but kept making weird comments about his girlfriend.

So instead Price watched the soft, innocent-looking secretary get rocked by a soldier after getting them to admit to adultery. Price had you checked by medical and sent home to rest. Once Soap had handled his issues, he told Price he was going to apologize to you for not believing you. Only you never made it home. Infact it didn't look like you had been home in a long time. Soap called Price. Which led to Soap, Gaz, Price, and Ghost looking for you all over town and base. When they don't find you, they head to Price's house to regroup. Only to find you covered in blood, barely standing, breathing hard, surrounded by the men you downed.

Before Price can reach you, you sway then.
