Heâs still asleep.
Big loud snoring.
Disturbing the entire countryside.
Whoever will rid this place of the sleeping menace?

Dont mind Xin carefully putting a blanket over monkey friend so he can be comfy.
He lets out a big, content sigh (in his sleep??).
He might be sleeping out on the bare ground, but he seems pretty comfortable.
He snores very loudly.
Also, he has fruit juice all over his beard.

Realising that the stranger was no direct threat, Ahri allowed the gathered magic around her hands to drain away and return to the nature around her. âYou are very confident for someone who has never met one of my kind before. How can you know that you will be able to take me on? Maybe I will have you on your knees before you can grab the first tail.âÂ
She shook her head at the otherâs confidence, mostly amused. He didnât seem to pose a threat, yet seemed like someone she shouldnât try to feed on. âYou know that you make little sense when you talk?â Ahri asked, kneeling down next to the tracks sheâd been examining before being interrupted. âI suggest you keep your boasting to a minimum or Iâll be tempted to âmagic you upâ after all.â
âEhh...â Wukong shrugged, swaying low in his stance, âYou just donât look very tough. Thatâs all. I mean, sure, you probably have strong magic. But I can see magic coming from miles and miles away. You think you would do so well if I came and bonked you on the head, once you ran out?â
Or, at least he assumed most people could run out. He often felt like he ran out of energy after most earnest efforts. Maybe that was just him getting tired? He laughed about it all the same, absolutely hooting, âNah, Iâm not gonna. Nameâs Wukong, by the way. King of the Shimon. Maybe all this talking Iâm doing is just... to distract you! Aha!â
He scuttled in closer, or at least as close as he could without feeling like a threat, âWhatâre you looking at, anyway?â

//Like for a starter! Wukong will (hopefully) not prank you too hard.

<Now now> she smiled, <is something worth doing at all if it isnât a little troublesome?>
<Perhaps a better way to look at it is⌠what compels you? You could stay at home in a tree somewhere, Iâm sure, and never trouble yourself with anything! But you havenât, and here we are. There is something poetic in that, donât you think?>
<Maybe you wonât write the poem, but rather, you are living the poetry?> she giggled. <Maybe someday, someone will write it all down.>
<I think youâre doing just fine.>
âOh noo...â He whined, pouting childishly, âDonât think things like that at me. Thatâs how you get me to do stuff I donât wanna do. It doesnât have to be trouble. Sleepingâs worth it. So is eating. Not trouble at all! Though... fighting is trouble sometimes, I guess.â
He took a moment, a very short moment, to consider the humanâs words with a level of seriousness. Especially the part about being âliving poetry.â That was pretty cool. People should be writing poems about him, âAnd you fight, because you have to get people out of trouble. Maybe thatâs art, to them? If you stay up in a tree, you get so bored that you turn into a stone. Thatâs not helping anyone, and no one can be amazed at how great you are, that way!â
â... Or something like that.â Wukong scrunched up his features, âI think I got distracted. We were talking about music? Oh!â He pointed a large thumb towards himself, âYou should do some music about me! That way, you can be the first to do it.â
âDonât worry. Iâm gonna fight you all, eventually.
Itâs gonna happen, so you shouldnât try to hide!
Unless youâre a sore loser, then I suppose I better leave you alone...
 ... Nah!â

Cheng managed to get to the waterfall before the noon. He sighed, sat down and put his qiang away. He leaned over and started washing his face and drinking some of the water. He really needed some refreshment now.
Was that... another Shimon over there? Maybe? How exciting! This was the perfect opportunity for some mischief. Wukong loomed at some distance, thoroughly scrutinizing the area after he noticed the otherâs presence. What to do, what to do..? He scratched his head for a moment, when ah-hah! They were washing their face, huh? Maybe they needed to take a bath?
Quickly, Wukong manifested a clone of himself and sent it bolting out to push Cheng into the cascading water. Whether successful or not, it would immediately disappear into a puff of smoke and straw. And, whether successful or not, the Trickster would hoot with laughter from his hiding spot.
It was good to be the King.
gxmihoâ:
The Gumiho became aware of the subtle shift in the magic around her that announced the otherâs presence only as he drew closer. She had encountered quite a few other Vastaya on her journey so far and none of them had been able to point her in the right direction. However, this oneâs magic âsignatureâ so to speak, felt different from the ones sheâd met before.Â
Ahri frowned when the other called out to her, tails flailing out instinctively, and a blue glow gathering around her fingertips. âGive it a try and youâll find out,â she shouted back, the words clearly a threat. âI canât say I would recommend it.âÂ
âWoah...â He ogled at her display, almost before he realized it. Shaking his head of his curiosities though, he continued to yell excitedly. Threatening postures had long since lost their bite. Probably around the same time he realized he was the best, âIâd do it, if I thought it would be fair. Probably isnât fair, so I probably shouldnât do it. I could catch all your tails before you could say, erm... tails!â
The Shimon dared to take a step closer, though he was really lost in his own mind, âI canât even imagine having more than one tail. Itâd be so easy to climb around. Though... I guess I can make more than one me, so thatâs way, way cooler.â He began to pick at one of his ears, as if that would help him, âWait, youâre not gonna magic me up, right? Iâll only fight if you wanna fight!â

Sona chuckled - albeit soundlessly.
<âMusicâ is many things, depending on who you ask. Some consider it a higher form of poetry. Others, a way to convey color without words. But I think like all art, music is something you can make out of anything.>
<But I do not thinkâŚ> she looked at his⌠flaccid⌠wood? <⌠you are approaching the subject from the appropriate angle.>
The Vastayan yawned with the strict intent of overselling the act, flicking his staff back into rigidity so he could lean against it as he mused, âWell... I donât really get that stuff. Art stuff. Just write poems instead. Paint a painting. Wouldnât that save you the trouble? If I wanna do something, itâs just because I wanna do it? Or, I wanna know how to do it?â
He shrugged, though smiled with a toothy grin, âBut hey! Iâm trying my best. I donât even have a real instrument, or whatever. I think Iâm doing pretty alright!â
When he had first embarked on a conquest to the First Lands, Swain had already been a seasoned veteran. He had wasted his prime of youth splattering his blood on the Northern Front. Years upon years of exertion had pent up on his face and Frejlord had frozen an austere expression on his face. But even the wrath of Iceborn descendants had been nothing compared to Ionia.
He had been there to watch the empire progressively take over these bountiful isles, entangling them like the spider does its prey. He had been there to watch the beauty of this land succumb under the brutality of a nation hailing from hostile drylands; a nation so cruel many native creatures could not even anticipate their violence until it was too late. Swain could remember how vastayah had fled from his blade back then, and that was how he knew, upon arriving at the shores for the second time, Â that Noxian presence had marked this land forever.
He could see it , in the eyes of the Shimon; he could see the spark of hope & lust for resistance. It was⌠intriguing.
â You must excuse me then. â He responded in the same roguish vein. â I do not make a habit out of wearing perfume to battle. â His cohort was already growing impatient, eager to bludgeon the creature. But Jericho was not that unwise. Whilst camping at Faeâlor, he had received news of this sole warrior that interrupted an entire march on their way up the mountain. Just one warrior. Of course, Swain had to see it with his own eyes. So he hand-picked a bunch of lousy troops and headed up to find this creature, not with the intent of battling him alone, but baiting him into demonstrating that fearsome prowess.
You cannot defeat a power you do not know.
His ember eyes turned to the sky, bright clouds juxtaposed with the dark Noxian armor. His single hand splayed towards his troops, swaying a dark coat with it.
â A dozen Noxian soldiers and one monkey. â He spoke, tone clearly taunting. It was very much meant to be a challenge for the Shimon. â I fear the outcome will be ⌠grimly dull. â
Oh! Exciting! Wukong knew how this one went. This had to be his second or third favorite thing to do. Eating and sleeping were right up there, maybe training too? Ugh, he was already getting distracted. In any event, kicking the butts of a bunch of mortals was waaaay up there. Thatâs not to say the circumstances were that pleasant. He still remembered the last time some stupid mortals ran him all around Zhyun, and what theyâd done there. But no time for sad thoughts, even if everyone else around him seemed pretty sad. He was already bounding left and right, bursting with energy.
âYeah, a dozen whole guys. Wow, really rolling out the celebrations for the Monkey King himself, huh? And you donât even care about your stinky magic? Old humans really are that weird. You all do weird stuff, tap up magic from all the gross places, and then wonder why you get old and die. Maybe you wonât even die! Thatâs probably sadder, Old Man.â His staff whipped into his grasp, seemingly from nowhere. In reality, he kept it small enough so that he could tuck it away behind his ear. He spun the weapon in well practiced theatrics, the wood seeming to bend in ways that conflicted with its visible properties, âIf you all wanna try, then by all means! Iâll go easy on you.â
He stopped for a moment, as if he were readying himself to be set upon. But the trickster was spending a second to eye the Noxian with the most antsy stance... and eject his staff outwards! Pow! Knock one in their big dumb chest, and then quickly pull his staff back to normal size. It wasnât even for tactical advantage, though the surprise was certainly something. It was just hilarious. He was hooting!
But even as Wukong nearly rolled in hysterics, he was ready. They could come, and heâd knock âem down. No bloodshed, no killing, but a good bruising was in order.
Heâs snoring loudly, nose snotty, hanging limply from a hefty tree branch.
A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS: @gxmiho
Wukong wasnât the most subtle creature on Runeterra. He eyed up his fellow Vastayan from a ways away, leaning on his staff as he pointed in her general direction. It was almost as if he was... trying to count? Trying to count, and not getting very far with it from the looks of his scrunched up features,
âIf you have more than one tail, thatâs gotta mean youâre easier to fight... Hmm...â Not that he wanted to fight anyone (right now anyway). It was the hypothetical of the thing, of course! He scratched at his fuzzy cheek as he shouted to her more directly, âHey! Has anyone tried to catch you by the tail before? Howâd that go?â

A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS: @weldlune
âOh... You look sad. Why do you look so sad?â The Trickster was low in his stance, head cocked almost at a right angle as if that would help him better diagnose the otherâs mood, âI could tell you a joke? Maybe someone already told you a bad joke, huh..?â
The Shimon stroked at his beard, leaning his entire frame over as he flipped his head for a âbetter lookâ, âMaybe youâre not sad at all. I canât tell. Maybe youâre just really hungry. I can understand that. I bet thatâs it.â
A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS: @ionian-wanderer
âAre you lost, or something?â Wukong shouted out without much warning. He was perched in branches above, his large tail wrapped about another nearby tree limb. He seemed quite amused, head resting in his hand, âI havenât seen anyone around here for... a while. Actually, maybe I havenât seen anyone today? Huh...â
He started mumbling for a moment, motioning with a hand as if to trace marks on a map. After his internal deliberation, he shook his head with a toothy grin, âNah, I bet youâre lost. I could never be lost. Where are you going?â
