How comes that Lance is still the Champion despite being beaten by 3 Trainers already? Or is it because all of them are to young to take the responsibility of Champion?
Yeah they're too young. Lance gets to stay Champion as long as 1) there's no Champion title holder aged 18 and above who wants to replace him 2) he still fulfills the tasks laid out by the job, which includes mentoring anyone who wins the title and agrees to a mentorship.
In the future, Ethan will win the title and decline the mentorship, right now the Kantrio all agreed to it but both Red and Blue will take the training and do something else, with Leaf just old enough to replace him in an official capacity when GSC happened (it's to give him some legal breathing room to go investigate Team Rocket) (in practice he still stick around long after that because it's not like the work has gotten any easier + she has way less training than he did)
Which is to say it's possible (and most of the time it's not even malicious intent but sheer incompetence on the Champion's part), but it's not gonna be a problem here
