it’s been awhile since i’ve made a tutorial, and i’ve gotten pretty good at color correcting, so i figured i’d throw something together for y’all!

i do not use psds, but i do go through same process of coloring with every gif that i make, so this psd is usable on all marvel scenes.

it is made for highly contrasted, vibrant, hd gifs. 

if needed, turn off some layers (exposure and levels or tone them down) that i used, play with selective colors and color balance, depending on the scene.

✧  ADJUSTMENT PSD 001: ANTI-WHITEWASHING   —   BY EVANSYHELP.

This is an adjustment PSD designed to correct whitewashing.  It comes in four strengths and includes 3 add-on adjustments to fix possible issues caused by the main layers (ie. tomatowashing).  It is not meant to be a complete PSD on its own; place it underneath your colouring PSD for optimal results.  Please like or reblog if you download, and credit me if you use it in your icon/gif packs.

i’ve decided to create another coloring tutorial after about a year or as in the past few months i’ve changed up the method for vibrant gifs. this tutorial will be long and detailed as it will show 3 methods i’ve used for coloring:

one method may work better then another depending on the individual gif along with the effect you’re trying to go for. i’m going to start out with showing the base coloring or base adjustment layers before taking them a step further. and more these methods it’s easier if you have some basic understanding of photoshop!! though these are pretty detailed so you should be able to follow no matter the familiarity. so here we go~
