Happy Wilmon day to the gays that gave me my life back. Is that dramatic? Probably, but I guess I don't care about that anymore. I've shared my most intimate words in this fandom, and grown in ways that can only be attributed to the unconditional acceptance and visibility that queer media, this show in particular, has brought into my life. With Young Royals, I not only learned to accept myself where I'm at, whether it be my sexuality or my gender or even my mental health, but I learned how to love myself and my life again, and demand what I deserved. I stepped out of my comfort zone and into a fandom that felt more like family than my own for a long time. I found writing again after having lost it for so long, it didn't even feel like an option anymore. On top of all that, this fandom introduced me to one of the most important people I will ever meet.
