I am a fan of Smosh...and I typically enjoy Smosh on my own. Meaning, I usually don't pay attention to the rest of the fandom. But, recently I've been seeing posts on Twitter with people constantly shipping Angela and Amanda...and it's really fucking weird. Amanda is a married woman with a child. So why do this?
These are REAL people. They're not toys for you to play with in the fucked up dollhouse that is your imagination.
My Backrooms theory is that the Backrooms is an alternate reality that is sentient. A reality that is somehow alive. It's found a way to interact with our reality which is not a living reality, but contains life in it. This is what leads it to try and duplicate (but do so incorrectly) aspects of our reality in order to possibly understand it, or to encourage us to visit it. We and our reality fascinate it because before finding us...it had never known of such concepts.
And for people dying there...I think the backrooms doesn't understand death because it can't die so it doesn't understand that we can die...so the concept of death is foreign to it.
I don't know...just my own pointless theory.
It's sad how dumb a portion of the Stranger Things fandom is.
First they believed in that bullshit "conformitygate"...now they are mad at sketches on SNL because they don't have the intelligence to understand what the jokes were.

I've criticized the DCEU (the Synderverse) in the past on this blog. I wasn't really a fan of how it was going. (I was even attacked by unstable DC fanboys for my views).
After seeing Superman (2025), I feel James Gunn is going to do a much, much better job at making a DC cinematic universe than Zack Snyder did. This new Superman feels like he is the embodiment of hope...which is what Superman should be.

As much as I like the show Community, I will always think it's bizarre and bad writing how the character of Professor Michelle Slater just completely vanishes from the show after season 1 with no explanation as to why.
She wasn't simply some small side character that could be easily forgotten...she was being set up as a serious love interest for Jeff. And then when season 2 began, they resolved what happened in the season 1 finale with Britta. But not once, do they bring up Prof. Slater. It's so weird.
And the fact that the real world reason why she went away was because the writers just didn't come up with a story line for her so they just decided to make the character vanish.
Like I said...it's weird and bad story telling.
I found out not too long ago that apparently there were actually three Jennifers in Back To The Future...not two. I had no idea that Melora Hardin was the first Jennifer Parker to be cast for the series.
But, I feel so bad for her though. She was robbed of a role in a now classic trilogy all because of stupid movie studio executives. They fired her because she was taller than Michael J. Fox. She wasn't a bad actress. She wasn't being difficult behind the scenes. It was all because of her being taller than her co-star. Apparently, she wasn't taller than Eric Stoltz when he was going to originally be Marty McFly.
What makes it worse is that Melora probably would've been Jennifer in the whole trilogy...unlike Claudia Wells who played Jennifer in only the first film, but wasn't available for II and III. So we ended up with Elizabeth Shue. I don't have a problem with any of these actresses it's just I prefer consistency in movies because I feel like actor changes break the immersion.
So...yeah. I really hate business people. They are so fucking stupid.
I hate how TikTok can recontextualize serious songs and in turn them into jokes.
I hate how in various forms of media consumption, many people are like pigs. They will happily eat any slop that is thrown in their trough by major record labels/big movies studios/AAA video game publishers. And some of these little pigs don't even care about the quality of person who makes this stuff. As long as they are entertained...that's all that matters to them.
It's pretty sad.
Chappell Roan is right about how she wants to be treated...in that she wants to just be treated like any other person in life.
I don't know why there are weirdos out there who think that if they are a fan of someone...that person who they are a fan of owes them their time in some fashion.
Newsflash...you are not owed a picture, or an autograph, or time with the person you are a fan of. They don't owe you something because you like what they make. If anything, you owe them. They are the ones creating something for you to enjoy. You're not creating anything. To put it in simpler terms...they are creating a product. You are consuming the product.
Do you go to McDonalds and when you are done eating your meal feel entitled to have a picture taken with the staff or get their autographs?

Cate Blanchett is about 20 to 30 years older than the character she is playing.
Kevin Hart is playing a character who isn't really trying to be funny in the games. But, Hart is known for being a comedic actor.
Choosing Krieg to be one of the main characters of the film is also strange. Why not Brick? And where is Mordecai?

The irony is...the only reason I know that is because Taylor Swift fans in a incredibly misguided effort to protect their false god have only brought more attention to the situation.
The Swifities have been posting tweets with random stuff using the hashtag "Taylor Swift AI" in an effort to try to bury the AI porn. But, all they have done is make the term "Taylor Swift AI" trend. Which means now more people know about what is going on. They would've been better off saying nothing and letting this just sink in the algorithm so it wouldn't get as much attention, but no...the cult of Taylor Swift were not capable of thinking that far ahead, apparently.
The only reason Taylor Swift is as popular as she is is because she is the best the record industry can do right now for mainstream listeners. Had she been around in the 80s or 90s making the music she is now...she would've been a one hit wonder at best.
