Understanding light has given me an infinitely unique perspective on life. Of course everybody has heard and understood that life is shades of grey, but to visually see it and understand what it means in a literal sense is different. I listened to a Stuff You Should Know episode today about space hurricanes, the similarities between earthly hurricanes and space hurricanes is remarkable. We are early and late in our infancy about our knowledge of the universe. This is learning that can be applied to all levels of our understanding of the universe. To not lose my place, just what I am thinking. Will we lose ourselves in personal beliefs before we understand that we are animals and extremely vulnerable to climate change? And for that fact, vulnerable to changes period? I fear that I am at the tail end of the peak of human civilization. While we are at the pinnacle of technological advancement in the moment, we may lose what we have worked so hard to gain. We have so much to offer, but we may succumb to our own devices.
