hey guys (ignore my mini-me Jade, i have to fix her top lip) i bit the bullet and made a tiktok account! i’ve been thinking about making one for a while, but after having so much fun doing my last two doll videos, i decided to expand the Voidollz internet territory 💀💗

also wanted to share this new app i found on reddit called Memoa app, it’s for doll collectors to share and keep track of their collection, you can even keep track of the value of your collection if you get the membership (i didn’t, but thought that was a cool option)

my small project for the day, a custom look inspired by Sally from AHS Hotel! i randomly started rewatching that season and remembered how much i loved Sarah Paulson’s character style that season, so decided to try to recreate it!

i stitched the dress from a stretchy thin material similar to stockings, then i wrapped the leopard velvet over the doll and cut out the length and arm sleeves. i wanted it to have a “droopy” look, like an oversized cardigan, which kind of worked…at the expense of the sleeves not being measured equally…

(moving forward i will start actually drawing out the panels instead of just cutting it out and hoping for the best.)

couldn’t sleep so i made some prototype flared leggings^^

(i also tried to give this Jade some micro bangs…i’ll save that disaster for another post)

i used an old pair of stockings (which is GREAT material for diy doll clothes!) then loosely measured how long i wanted them to be and cut out two panels, sowed the sides bottom up, left about 3/4in. at the top so i can attach both sides and that was it!

i didn’t like the way it looked at the top and instead of sowing it tighter, i cut out a “belt” and tied it around the top, i LOVE how it turned out!
