carnival is definitely up there as one of my favorite seasons so far , i love the cosmetics and the area and everything about it really . finally got both ults so heres my new silly little outfit that i currently adore

finally got the ult cape :) i wanted the pants (and mask) to be fully white but unfortunately i already have two saved dye slots on the pants so i had to make do with one of those instead . still turned out good but ill update this fit in the future probably

a year b4 dye was added, the stream from skyfest had a developer guy talking a lot abt implementing new things to give us more things to do in the game. when an mmo announces something like this, and words it that way, what they rlly mean is that they're finding ways to give your more excusrs to spend longer playing the game, investing more time, and hoprfully the your money. dye is awesome and a natural step that made sense for sky, but as a system, it's meant to give us another thing to grind for. people who dye their clothes all the time need to keep grinding for their fav colors, cool new cosmetics come out with dyeable features, holidays make you want to dye your clothes differently, someone's cool dyed outfit could convince you to finally buy that iap you've had your eye on etc

or it could completely deter you from playing the game at all because grinding is rarely ever fun . sure its rewarding but eventually the rewards just arent worth it and you lose energy and motivation for it , which in turn makes you lose the will to even play the game

this is why so many people complain that sky isnt about being a social game anymore because the only thing people ever do in the game is grind . candle run , dye run , close the game , repeat tomorrow . it gets boring and exhausting . as much as im not a social guy and prefer to stick to myself , i know what the game is supposed to be and this is not it
