as an interior designer enthusiast, how could u ever close off a kitchen area? its like u finished build everything and realise u forgot a kitchen so u slam on a door on one room and slap on counters and call it a day

the kitchen is a communal area and ur closing it off, and when someone is cooking there they gotta look at the four walls and cook?! thats, insane and suffocating

this is especially if its a mini kitchen, how u gonna make it small and close it up r u trying to kill someone?

hotels r quite limiting in terms of space/activities/privacy. hotel "activities" r usually having to go out and find stuff to do within the area. the rooms and stuff can be spacious but usually its smaller like the rooms and balcony and outside space. hotels operate on keycards which gives a feeling of security but theres ppl all over outside ur room which doesnt feel very closed off

holiday homes have more to play around with. they have a bigger area in terms of rooms and usually have a garden or private pool/beach. though u need to come with ur own activities or go out for some bc the house is the activity. they feel less safe bc its out in the open and may or may not have neighbours but ur separated from ppl and have privacy instead

so while hotels r for "adventure" and "only for sleeping" it has less privacy but more vibes and for short periods of time where the comfort is in the room

and holiday homes r for "getaways" for a long time which has more freedom and more privacy where the attraction is in the home with the pool/tv/entertainment area

to conclude; hotels r for going out bc theres not much to do in the room, holiday homes r for staying in bc u dont want to be outside much
