Over the past week, I've been interacting with the L&DS Community. Resposting drawings on my other accounts, talking in the Discord, signing petitions, and trying to swallow down my own anxieties as I type out a message in the comments of someone else's post.
And perhaps the most important thing I, as an individual, can do; is draw.
Over this past week, I have witnessed something beautiful. People coming together, working together, united for a common goal. Connected by the pure love of something. All of these people, from different walks of life, sharing and connecting. Brought together by the unifying factor of Valko and his unjust cancelation.
Watching the constant flow of messages and posts, and in particular, the L&DS Discord Chat. I began to save some of those MCs that people had been sharing. I began to drawn them. I didn't know how far I would get, or how much I would do. But these people inspired me. These people made me hopeful for a sense of humanity. It comforts me, knowing that people could still come together for something in such a loving and honest way.
I hope that these drawings I've done, this small collage that doesn't even break the surface of the amount of wonderful charachters and people I have seen.. Can give comfort to someone else in a similar way. Thank you.
