Out of the trenches the clone troopers rise!

Hi guys, long time no see! Unfortunately, this isn't the update you've all been waiting for, but it is a clone wars oneshot that I'm super proud of! I wrote it for the Vode An Zine that happened several months ago, and I had completely forgotten I was allowed to post the story on my own blog until just now!

@vodeanzine thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity, I had so much fun! It was such an honor to be included in an incredible project, and all the other participants did an amazing job!!

Updates for other projects are coming soon, I promise haha! Until then, please enjoy this short little vignette!

APPLICATIONS OPEN!

Thank you all so much for your patience! Applications for page artists, writers, chefs and merch designers are now open! In addition, the mods have decided to expand applications to include spot artists and writers! These contributors would be paired with someone else to create text like notes on a recipe (spot writer) or small art to illustrate a story or recipe (spot artist).

NOT ONLY THAT but there will also be TWO digital add-on portions to the zine! One for recipes that are all things baking, desserts, brunch, drinks and more! (More information on what can be submitted in the application).

The second add-on will be a Clone OC Showcase! Following the theme of the zine, contributors will be allowed to create artwork or stories for their OC's! Spot artists may also apply for the OC add-on and be paired with a writer to illustrate their writing.

You can apply for however many positions you would like but may be limited to where you are accepted due to only a certain amount of spots being available in the physical zine. The digital add-ons will have open spots.

This zine is looking to celebrate the original Clone Wars but also the Star Wars Legends that many of us grew up on before the 2008 Clone wars. Forgot to post this! This is a fic that I had the privilege to write for @vodeanzine​ , a Clone Trooper Zine!

Sister could never decide if she loved or loathed being on patrol.

On the one hand, it was critical for the security of the base. She was proud that Commander Cody trusted her skills to be among the first line of defense.

On the other hand, it was painfully boring.

Well, “boring” wasn’t quite the right word. Patrolling the perimeter of the hastily-established base required Sister to be focused and disciplined, alert for anything that might signal a hostile presence. But a good patrol meant nothing happened, which often led to strung-out nerves for no reason. So, every clone regularly on patrol duty had developed the skill of keeping watch for anything out-of-place, while also using the opportunity to relax.

Now, Sister uttered a quiet laugh, filtered through her helmet.

“Don’t tell me you actually watch those Jedi romance holos?”

I can finally share the full piece I did for the @vodeanzine!

A closer look at the art I did for an acrylic standee for @vodeanzine! I was showing the standee to my brother and explaining how each of the elements of the picture is meant to symbolise the fate of each Domino squad member, and he informed me that I am, in fact, a monster :D
