I was wondering about the Lighthouse and heading down the stairs behind Davrin's building when I looked out and saw this scene, which made me think of the painting “Wanderer above the Sea of Fog” by Caspar David Friedrich. The painting is typically paired with the poem “Wanderer’s Nightsong II” by Goethe, which also pairs well with Rook. Just as the birds asleep in the trees, rest will come soon.

disclaimer: i know next to nothing about tarot and this is my best attempt at understanding intended meaning and applying it to Ayanne and her card.
Ace of Cups is a card of new beginnings marked with joy and plenty a chance to start fresh on a fulfilling path. It's also a card of strong intuition and remaining true to oneself and I think it fits Ayanne very well.
The cup Ayanne is holding overflows with fresh water, split into 5 streams to represent intuition and awareness of her inner voice. But the streams don't simply just fall around her, but bend since she's not just allowing for things to happen to her anymore but takes active action to pursue what she wants.
She also allows one of the streams to pass through her fingers without worry, knowing that not everything can be controlled and letting go is not a bad thing.

Five of Cups is all about dealing with the painful consequences of ones choices and with the disappointment of knowing that things *could* have been different if only the world had been a kinder place.
I don't really think of Ghilasara as someone who necessarily regrets her decisions, but I think that the sense of responsibility and the need to "do the right thing" have come to bite her more than once and her personal happiness and the "could have beens" suffered for it.
There's a cup in Ghilasara's hands, she's often the one demanding of others, but a cup also looms behind her, her obligations demanding as much or more from her than she demands of others.
And I mean you see cups you think Grey Wardens, I am not immune to biases and preconceived notions.
