the lyrics literally have me in tears they’re so beautiful and sorrowful and mature
this is honestly exactly the kind of song that i hoped to see for onewe’s debut, and i wasn’t disappointed at all
the neutral warm tones in the mv are so fitting for the theme of the song, looking back on painful memories but acknowledging that as a part of your life and respecting the changes you’ve made since those times - it’s a really visually stunning music video despite being relatively ‘basic’
i love that everything was really stripped back. we know that onewe have the capability of doing heavier songs with ease, but i’m glad they opted for this softer ballad-esque song for their debut
the styling was perfect. 10/10 to the rbw stylists because they’re always doing the lord’s work and this was no exception.
onewe have a really interesting dynamic, being that they are the twin group of oneus and they’re sort of linked together at all times. it was interesting to see oneus’ debut taking on the role of a “you’re the light of my life and the reason for my existence” mentality, whilst onewe are almost reflecting on the naivety of that belief and saying “we thought that we’d be together forever, we weren’t, we hurt each other, and we’re different people now”
i just love yonghoon’s vocals so damn much. i think he should be way way more recognised for his vocal ability in this industry than he is, because those vocals are honestly golden
dongmyeong was playing the piano. honestly, iconic.
cya didn’t get a rap section, which is a shame, but i’m also kind of glad they didn’t go for a rap in this sort of song. plus he got to showcase his rapping skills on oneus’ debut album, so it kinda balances itself out.
harin looked gooooood. his visuals get stronger by the day
kanghyun’s little acoustic guitar moment was perfect
