I’ve had the privilege of seeing God be God.

Seeing Him rescue the dead, making miracles, internal and external ones.

I’ve see Him remain faithful, take and give, extend justice, give grace, love unconditionally, dominate in the spiritual world, overtake additions, oppressions, and overcome death.

He is Yahweh.

There’s so much more to see than what’s in the mirror. When i look at Him, I forget that I am a mere human. I forget the old stains of shame, hurt, and sin. I lose sight of myself. He’s bigger, too big to search among the galaxies; his heart is too deep to find within the depths of the oceans.

When I see Him, I see a reflection. Not a reflection from a mirror, but a reflection of His glorious light, a light so magnifying, it pierces and purifies my heart.

Life is bitter at times. At others, sweet, and sometimes both. The bible talks about how there’s a time for everything, a different season each time. (Ecc. 3:1). Some of you might be in a season of victory, of reaping your fruit, others in a season of sowing, and others, in a dry season with the drought overcoming your soil. 

I love how the Word states it so clearly that we should live by faith and not sight. (2 Cor. 5:7)

So for those in a dry season never lose sight of the cross. Look not at what the world says about you, look not at what the doctor says, look not at what your heart says about you, but look at what God says about you.
