There is a bit of a story to this short little creation of mine. In my mind I was picturing the transition of autumn into winter with the portrayal of these two precious characters. My own Kiara, as autumn, who is sad to see things change and move on… and Jack Frost is there to remind her of the good times. I’m calling this one Past Lives, to remind me to remember the past and embrace what’s ahead. 🤍

Kiara’s design was incredibly fun to translate into a style that works around basic shapes and bright expressions. She is a sun/mood coded character… and of course, our dear Nevermore is always by her side. 🐦‍⬛
