She glanced at the garden, sculptures decorating the grounds. Okay, in hindsight, while she didnât want to remain in the ballroom, maybe going to the gardens was a bad idea. Even if, from the get-go, her dress was the bad idea after all, but itâs not like sheâll ever say that out loud. Or even admit it.
In any case, she glanced back at the blonde, blithely ignoring the implication within her question.
âNot really.â A short pause. âMaybe a little.â Another pause, longer this time. âReally, I donât mind them. I donât have anything against couples, just, when you see them ogling at each other, it kind of gets oldââ
âânot that itâs not fun to tease them about it or anything. I mean theyâre cute and all but when they go at it, they really go at itââ And she trailed off, going on about voices bleeding through the walls, blackmail material, not being able to sleep at 3am because of something⌠was she even talking about the people at the event anymore? Â
From a distance there were people divided into groups to play in the snow- some throwing it against each other while many simple cooperated to build something fantastic. The sculptures came into view as well, and at some point before the night ended she wanted to visit it just for a bit.
Back to the current case though, she had almost lost her at what she was going off about with where the topic was going. Maybe it was best if she suggested something before her talk became nothing but mindless rambling. It seemed like the better option for the two of them, anyway.
She placed a hand on the otherâs bare shoulder, hoping that would make her temporarily catch her breath.
âIf anything, would you like to go back in for a refreshment together? It would be best if you had another to accompany you for the remainder of the night, I believe.â
