“Last night, I had a dream that I bought a cup of coffee that had brownie in it.”

he had un-holstered his guns as he saw a woman become encircled by a group of rugged looking men. ciel ran towards them in hopes of assisting the girl, but before he could make his heroic debut, the sound of grunts and groans filled the city air, leaving battered and bruised men scattered about on the ground.

the girl was also on the ground, but there was barely even a scratch on her — she was probably just on the ground because of that low swooping kick she did. scratching the back of his head in embarrassment, ciel holsters his plastic guns before approaching the girl cautiously.

 Arima remembered, the small girl that always seemed to be watching him from afar. In a moment of weakness he smiled at her. Those days of standing among flowers were something he knew he could never go back to though. 

He was glad really... glad that she had let go. He knew he did not deserve a second chance in this city but if anyone did, it would be Hairu. Still, it felt empty now that he was no longer being watched. 

After receiving the third sick call this week, Arima could no longer passively ignore it. Which is why some time later, quite awkwardly he found himself standing on Hairu’s doorstep, and quietly rapping a delicate knuckle against her door. 

Honestly, accepting bag that smelled like old, rotting beef marinated in perfume wasn’t the best decision Gaap made. Not that she’s had the best kinds in the past few days but... details! It wasn’t as though she actually took it as a favor, now if she thought about it. More like it had been forcefully thrust to her person, and said person who’d done so had run away after the fact.

Ugh. Why was she still holding onto it then? Said bag was exactly an arm’s length away, and she watched as something oozed from the covers. Gross. 

So what now? Ah, of course she’ll pass it off to someone else!

“First class Hairu right?”

He never worked with her before but he knew her and always gave off the impression of a kindhearted woman probably easy to get along, something Hide is especially fond of as he’s so desperate to make friends in this city.
