I celebrated Thanksgiving in an old-fashioned way. I invited everyone in my neighborhood to my house, we had an enormous feast, and then I killed them and took their land.

      "—Lights, huh? I think that’s pretty. Fits you. And I’m not trying to come onto you or anything, just kinda works, y’know?"

        ☾— ▎☨▎—— "Not trying to come onto me? So I'm not worthy of your flirtations? Ouch, man. Hurts me deep. And to think I was ready to crawl on my hands and knees over this disgusting floor to help hunt down those keys of yours." She shook her head in disapproval, cutting her eyes away as she worked to suppress her grin. Try as she might, the venture proved entirely fruitless, for the flimsy poker face she wore was so easily undermined by the amusement in her eyes.               "Nah, I'm just fuckin' with ya. I dig the name too. I mean, I'm the one who thought of it, so y'know -- I kinda have to."

         ☾— ▎☨▎—— Lights laughed, unable to hold back the outburst as she drank in his demeanour. "Anyone ever told you you're a real ray of sunshine? Seriously, man. Don't think I've ever come across such a positive soul in all my days."

        ☾— ▎☨▎—— "Uh, no. If there's a bigger half, it should definitely be mine. I'm smaller than you, and I need to make up for that with copious amounts of food. 'Sides, I'm the one getting the pie, so it's only fair."
