Shocked I haven't seen Rakta paired with Suzuri yet tbh. It's a perfect match! Allow me to sway you:
Suzuri can empathize with Bankoku-Gai's situation. He grew up with a severe lack of resources and many mouths to feed. He'd understand the desperation that makes you do "bad" things, the unwillingness to trust "outsiders", and the fierce protectiveness of what little you have. On the flip side, I think they also have interesting differences that can be explored. Red Chanpuru is an established group with a long history and a multicultural foundation, whereas Gravel formed to fulfill one group's specific needs and then "disbanded" once those needs were fully met. Gravel has a "pack of stray dogs" vibe, while Red Chanpuru is more of an exclusive club where you need connections to get in and there may not be a way out (I get the vibe that there's some serious pact-making behind the scenes).
Rakta and Suzuri probably have clashing views on what loyalty should look like and how resources should be managed among a group. For example, in the last chapter I think Suzuri would've suggested that the people of Bankoku-Gai split up their food as evenly as possible so kids don't have to steal. This would sound like an impractical idea to Rakta because there's no way the entire city of businesses would agree to that.
But I digress, they're compatible as hell.
Also, it's a height gap relationship where imo the taller one (Rakta) would be pursued by the shorter one (Suzuri).
