The girl collected feathers to build the wings she was denied at birth. She braved the depths of hell and walked upon the gilded floors of heaven to find each tiny piece. She struggled, she survived and she earned her wings. Now, no force can tether her to the ground.

Like a wild flower; she spent her days, allowing herself to grow, not many knew of her struggle, but eventually all; knew of her light.

She thinks she’s living a fairytale, that’s why she fears the world so much, it scares her, because people are nothing like fairies, the sky is not made of candy and the world is not shiny.
