at the start of the video thomas says that the episode is “essential viewing” for the main storyline

imo, the most essential storyline detail from the video would be the introduction of nico, a love interest for c!thomas, which makes me think that he will most definitely come up again

there are heavy implications that c!thomas is completely relying on this thing with nico to work out well for him otherwise he will be devastated (ex. roman’s face as nico walks away and the fact he calls him “another chance at happiness”)

(and oh btw, this whole situation is very reminiscent of how c!thomas desperately wanted to go to the callback and was eventually devastated when he wasn’t able to…. hmm.. remind me which side deals with wants/desires/dreams again?)

when c!thomas does the whole introductory dog barking bit at the beginning of the vid, it looked like he was going to film a regular sanders sides video but then decided to “get out of there” and go to the mall, hence the whole plot of the episode unfolds, but WHAT WAS HE GOING TO TALK ABOUT ???

also nico’s whole foreshadowing moment?? with the song??? like the whole “aspect of someone’s life who feels like a trash bin and the waste keeps piling & piling up until it spills over to the rest of their life” thing??? that is so obviously talking about the roman angst that’s been building up for ages now???

during the bathroom monologue… roman looking at himself in the mirror with so much shame because he doesn’t know how to guide c!thomas to his dreams anymore and feels like he’s failing him….. the Pain

roman saying “maybe it’s for the best..” when he thinks the thing with nico won’t work out + that line implying that c!thomas is maybe not actually “ready” for the relationship…. ruh roh moments
