violet usually sees so many familiar faces around lima but nick stuck out the most to her. it was his tattoos that capture her eyes mostly. “so modest,” she teased out as she walked passed him and made her way to her car. violet was a daddy’s girl, her car was always something new and she was always dressed up. but she was trying to prove herself that she was able to make it on her own. “oh,” mused the waitress. “i’m violet,” she smiled once she opened her car and started to place bags in the back.

“uh, no,” violet replied with a soft smile. “i can carry it.” now it was winter break and finals were over for her and her college friends. she was mostly taking shifts up at breadstix so that she was able to prove she could do things on her own. “oh, please. thank you so much. i think next time i should a cart.”

Well, what if the clothes don’t fit? What if they’re out of stock online? What if?? There is more but I’m too lazy to think about the others. I wish but sadly they want us to lose sleep and pull out our hair.

because my sweet dear child, it’s hard looking for presents for loved ones, dealing with horrible people while you shop, not getting enough hours to work or finals are tearing your apart. you know the usual stuff. 

“girl, i barely have money to travel out of lima for anything and you’re just heading to new york like no tomorrow,” she laughed. “i’ll try but i work as well so it’s a bit of busy life for me here.”

“oh new york sounds lovely. i never been but i heard it’s amazing. i feel you on that but i am spending my free time studying for this test i have for math and i cannot mess this class up again.”

it really is. they get so old so quickly and it’s just annoying after a shift. most likely, this one station starts playing christmas music like the day after halloween and it’s insane. i feel you on that man.

oh god, tell me about it. at work, all i have been hearing is the chipmunk's christmas song or santa baby on a loop. at first, it was fun but now i’m kinda getting over it.

"ah, how do you like here so far?” violet questioned, leaning against a wall. “indeed,” she nodded her head. “high school jocks think they’re cute and some rude ass woman earlier.”

violet let out a small laugh as she watched him, she knew drinking was not for everyone. “hey man, you wanted some.” she grinned over at him. “it’s like beer at first you know? at first i hated the smell and the taste but now i’m like,” she shrugged her shoulders a bit. “it ain’t that bad anymore,” she mused. the college sophomore pouted her lips lightly at his next comment. vi knew the feeling on what it was liked to stood up and there was a few times she had done it to someone. “aw dude, that fucking sucks. do you want another swing?” she questioned him. “i think everyone does, once it’s lunch time until we close, it’s a damn black friday sale or something because it’s always so packed.”
