"Much more but given present company i figured it was best to hold my tongue." a sly smile on his face as he shot back at her. It wasn't like he had no care about the man found dead. Even if he was from the other side of the feud he was one of theirs. If he could so easily be taken out what could the mean for Aurelio or any he called friend. "Forgive me for being blunt with so much blame already flying around its hard no to be." There was a nod to his head. As much as he hated that it was the only thing people wanted to talk about it was a rather big piece of gossip. "Now that is a rather scary thought is it not?" he asked sitting a little more forward in his chair. "If it is one of us then they are still walking with us and any one could be the next on his list." he paused "At least the idea of a stranger offers some sort of security with the rans closing it would be much harder for them to get someone else." he clicked his tongue, "but enough of the that now that i picked your mind was there something you needed" truthfully the thought of the killer still being among them worried him just a little too much.

viola exhaled, knowing she had been a bit harsh. in stressful situations, she had come to realize how impulsive she was with her words. biting and rough around the edges, viola dragged her nails across her flesh. up and down her arm. soothing circles. motions slow and steady as aurelio questioned her reasoning for being here. “i apologize for my bluntness. it is not of my usual nature.” she glanced at her skirts, knowing it was time to reveal the reasoning behind her visit. “and i do hope we are not next on the list. you are of value here. speaking of which…”

the metal along her thigh suddenly grew colder at the realization of who stood before her. a zetti, an arrogant one at that. she had heard plenty of stories of the zettis, especially the one that stood before her. fabian, the party boy. her eyebrows furrowed, finding it odd that he even had the nerve to approach her. her ankles crossed over the other, hand falling to her thigh. she could barely feel the weapon through her skirts, but it felt nice to know it was there if needed. “a sinistra living up to their names. unable to show sympathy toward a destra.” viola rolled her eyes. it was unladylike, yes, but she could not control her impulses. she almost went to stand and leave, but fabian continued on.

viola allowed her eyes to widen at the sudden quip from the other’s lips. an interesting humor, one that viola adored but would never speak in such a public setting. the smallest of smiles fell upon her lips, finding herself intrigued by marcella. “it seems your humor has not died down from the last time we saw one another.” a giggle slipped from her lips, and viola couldn’t help but feel lighthearted for the first time in a few days. “please, do not hide away. i just find it rather…enlightening you’re in the gardens. i fear i have never seen you about these parts?”

eleonora felt as if her head could collapse under the weight of her many thoughts. between her impending nuptials and the murder, she was desperate for even a few stolen moments of respite. she had left the estate with no particular destination in mind, and now found herself strolling through the gardens. they were as good a distraction as any, the colorful plants and blooming flowers as soothing to the soul as they were the eyes. it took a moment for the voice to register in her mind, and she blinked a bit dazedly as she turned her attention to a familiar face. "viola, dear," eleonora greeted, the smile that crossed her face the most genuine one in days. the cheerful expression lasted only a moment, as her companion soon introduced the topic on everyone's lips. "ah - i confess, i did not know the man myself, but it is a great tragedy, truly. how awful for his family," she murmured. if it had been one of her siblings - no, she could not bear such a line of thought. "and you? did you know him?"

viola had not run into eleonora in a long time. she could not even recall the last time the two spoke: both timid souls who’s connection began and end with aryan. the redhead felt terrible bringing up the death — it was saddening to see the smile fade from eleonora’s lips. though, viola forced her mouth to tug upward, wanting to provide a comforting environment for the two. “no, no, i did not know him. only ever saw him in passing at my family’s gatherings.” viola’s parents were known to throw the most extravagant events, filled to the brim with all sorts of individuals. viola adored the evenings, giving her a chance to stick to walls and interact with those who mean the world to her.

wielding at night had always been viola’s favorite pastime. the lanterns were dim enough to shield her identity, but bright enough for her to see what she was doing. her opponent, a stubborn tree, faced many markings and slices, a wicked grin appearing on her lips. curls wild around her face, viola let out a sigh of relief once she had realized she managed to pull the torneada. as she swirled her sword, messing around with it, a familiar voice filtered through the gardens. viola gasped, dropped her sword and found the source of the noise: edoardo galletti. she reached for the sword, an exasperated laugh leaving her lips. “edoardo!” she shrieked, her hand flying over her mouth. with the other hand, she shoved the swordbehind her back, the cold blade tickling the back of her neck. “i-i mean…my lord,” viola spoke behind her palm. she shoved her curls from her face, the tendrils light and airy around her rounded cheeks.
