All his life, Philippe has never been one to have any romantic experiences- from taking care of Christina when he was young to going of to travel for his studies, romance has never once crossed his mind... Yet with you, it's like all those non-existent desires for romantic intimacy have skyrocketed in to the atmosphere.
So then, his first kiss with you is a special affair, one he prepares for in advance by giving you the finest at home date he can possibly think of! An elegant dinner, a relaxing bath, and cuddling up together in the living with the phonograph playing in the background.
It's the perfect atmosphere for him to guide you into his lap and caress your face, nuzzling his nose against yours before easing you into a tender chaste kiss. Though, with all his passions for you in the surface like that, expect another kiss right after, deeper so he can steal your breath away and have you clinging to him when he finally pulls away.
Don't worry, he'll happily clean his lipstick from your lips, but first... He wants to make sure there's a sufficient mess to tend to first.
This is a vent piece but not a fanfic. If you are reading please read with caution that this is exploring PET death in my life. And speaking in depth about watching my pets decline into sickness these past few days.
Children are not born with the innate fear of snakes as once thought by scientists and anthropologists. It was hypnotized that our more ape like ancestors commonly feared snakes. But that is now not the case. And like baby's not fearing snakes. We as people are not built with the ability to process death at birth. It depends on how your parents choose to raise you and how you grow.
You maybe fine with squashing ants because you've been taught it doesn't matter. But you may fear bones of birds or other small animals you could come across. Cats bring dead mice as gifts all the time. Already having decapitated the creature or allowed its internal organs to be out of its body all for you.
I'm 21 now, I'm familiar with death. or at least i thought I was for a point. I've Disesected handfulls of fish for class, euthanized them myself and ripped apart fly larva for class. Clinical death.
My parents didn't let me know the cause of why my rabbit had to be put down, I wasn't allowed to see her. I wasn't allowed to see my other rabbit in pain and fear when our dogs mauled her and broke her spine.
I was young and didn't understand or even look at our family cat as I was informed she had a stroke and was dying, in a box but not for my eyes. I didn't bother viewing our old dog as she just couldn't get up anymore. Because I had already deemed these pets as secondary to me. The cat was mean to my own, she's gray so she's old. The dog scared me sometimes I've witnessed her getting chunks of flesh getting mauled by another already, she's gray, and old.
But as I grew older more death happened of people I was close to. My school counselor died. My aunt who I was not close to died. I was able to visit her in the hospital but she was fully cognitive. She talked to us, joked with us. Drank root beer and announced this was the worst root beer commercial ever. I knew how they died, childbirth, body rejecting doner bone marrow.
Delihas death still weighs on me because she was there cognitively. Despite my mom making the choice to put her down because her dementia was bad and causing her to pee on everything she was still my cat. She in my mind was getting better, she was moving more and I wasn't bother by her peeing on everything. Because she was my cat, she was my little baby, she was the reason why I was living.
This week we had to put our family dog down. For some reason when we got her my childhood mind classified her as a secondary pet. Most likely due to her looking like the dogs that attacked me before. She was so scared when we brought her home. The craigslist post that my parents bought her on lied. they claimed she was a 6 month old great Dane pup, but what we got was a severely traumatized 2 year old boxer mix. She was severely beaten at her old house and had struggles in normal dog things. She couldn't be walked because she yanked and foamed at the mouth. But she had so much love to give. She needed to be with you and getting your attention.
She had started to vomit first. Within less then a week of her vomiting she became lethargic and refusing to eat but still able to walk and use the bathroom. But she spent most of this time if not all on the same spot on the couch. When she was taken to the vet I was unhappy with the person who took her. I wish i was there to ask more informative questions. I know the vet doesn't have all the answers and they are not all seeing. But as somebody who's had numerous college level biology classes about disease and how the body works I felt I would be a better pick then a man who never went to college.
She had a high fever, and an enlarged liver. Though no signs of an infection in her blood and other blood tests are non conclusive. Basically the worst, cancer was a big contender. "if she doesn't get better come back and we can do more testing." the next day she was gone. The night before she had to go I couldn't sleep, i was crying left and right. She had always been hyper vigilant, poking her head up when called. But before I had retired to my room she didn't move or show any signs of getting up when I walked by or even petted. I had left around 9 pm.
I came back around 2 am, she had raised her head at me when i came over. She never moved from her position and our cat was lying next to her. She was drooling and couldn't keep her head up. I knew it was over, that this wasn't going to get better. By the time I left to go and try to sleep my mom came down to check on her. She knew then also it was the worst when she couldn't get the dog to go outside to the bathroom.
In the morning everybody was in tears. When I looked at her I felt I was facing death and mortality in the face. She was drooling, vomit by her mouth, she was more droopy then normal. But her eyes, they were not in the same direction, they were facing out from each other. Then I figured she must have had a stroke or seizure in the time I was away from her. her fever was killing her, shutting down parts of her brain and systems with sparks of electricity. The next time I saw her before she was taken away all major cognition was gone. Only the basal instincts to breath and organ functionality where left.
My moms boyfriend is old, he's around 50+. Its infuriating to see such a man child have a divine fantasy that she would get better all of a sudden. Even I knew that this was not a pretty or sanitary death. It was the cold hard truth where its not a simple euthanasia because the quality of life is poor. Its to put an animal out of their misery because its considered more humane then watching all of their functions die off one by one. I was fearful, Ive never experiened seeing any living creature like this. When Deliha was put down I was no doubt delusinal. Hugging her cooling body as she was injected and I could swear she was still breathing.
A post death world is hard. Your brain needs time to catch up and process that the thing that has been with you for a decade or more is no longer there. That when you open the door you wont hear barking or get jumped. That a head wont pop up from the couch as you walk by. That a friend is gone for our other pets. That theres now an empty spot where you still can see her in the state of hell.
Our other dog , when my mom and her bf left she looked out the window at the car as it drove off. Before licking the spot the other had been. hearing the cat wail wanting his cuddle buddy.
summary. jiaoqiu falls in love, but unfortunately for you he might love you a bit too much.
notes. yay. yippee. cannibal. i am a very normal and dignified human being. i haven’t played the tb quest still. take this while i still do not play it. i dropped a hannibal lecter reference because i thought it would be funny. please heed the warnings!!!
warnings. yandere jiaoqiu & themes, implied cannibalism, gn reader, implied kidnapping, this gets a bit dark it’s kinda funny, mentions of heaving at the very end, jiaoqiu is a weirdo, promise he loves u tho, in his own wicked weird way.
“What is this?” you ask timidly, picking at the thin slices of meat with your chopsticks.
Jiaoqiu blinks and snaps out of his stupor. “Pork.” He’s been staring at you for what had to be the entire hour since you’d entered his dining room. He tilts his head. “Why?”
The meat is too dark to be pork. It’s also too rich. Pork is usually dry, even when cooked by the most talented of chefs. The meat you poke up appears charred due to the basing and sauces he’s dressed it in, but the slices are still rich and dribble juice of some sort — perhaps blood. You did tell him once you preferred your meat on the rarer side.
You say nothing. You merely shake your head and continue to poke and prod at the dish. It smells delicious, and you’re sure it tastes something to match, but just staring at it makes your stomach twist.
Jiaoqiu is still staring.
You place down the chopsticks and stare back.
“You aren’t going to eat?”
“I’m not hungry,” you respond quickly. You search frantically for a clock, or a window, and find there is none. “I’m tired, actually. I might go to bed.”
You stand up briskly and try to push the chair away.
Your first error was announcing your departure. Jiaoqiu knows all your tricks by now, and the steady twitching of his ears you see out of the corner of your eye jolt in tune with every fidget of your fingers. He knows you feel discomfort, and unsafe, and he preys upon it.
Your second error was placing your hands on the table to stand, for his own fingers curled tightly around one wrist and gripped tight.
Your blood runs cold beneath your skin and he twists the flesh in warning.
“Sit down and eat,” he says. “Or I will tie you to the chair and feed you myself.”
It would not be the first time. You know the rope that he brings to every breakfast, lunch and dinner that he forces you to attend is not used for display. It sits quietly, arranged in a neat loop, on the table.
You always remember how it pulls and cuts into your flesh, all the while he grabs your face as gently as he can, and force spoonful after spoonful down your throat.
“I’m not hungry,” you whisper to him.
You do sit, however.
“You did not have breakfast, and I allowed you to skip lunch.” He’s still staring. That’s all he ever does. “Eat.”
It takes you a while to move. You busy yourself stalling, staring at him, and the rice dish, and then back at him again. Your stomach growls and you know he can hear it, but you hold steady. As steady as you can.
Jiaoqiu’s patience runs thin after a few minutes, and after a final glance, he makes for the rope on the table.
You almost snap and your hands immediately fly to the chopsticks you had dropped into the bowl. Desperate, you scoop up what you can with your trembling hands — which isn’t a lot at all — and attempt to swallow it.
He hums, pleased. He places the rope in his lap and leans forward in his seat next to yours to place a gentle kiss to your temple.
“See? It’s not so bad.”
And it isn’t. You know it’s not. His food is some of the best you’ve ever tasted.
The gentleness does not last an eternity when he realises you’re avidly avoiding the meat. It becomes more obvious when the dish slowly empties, and more meat remains than vegetable and rice.
He glances down into your bowl. “Best for last?”
You push it away. “I’m not eating it until you tell me what it is.”
“It’s pork,” he repeats.
“It’s not pork,” you argue. It’s a defeated whisper, and you hate to try and argue with him. Not because you’re wrong — you’re entirely certain you’re correct — but because he scares you.
“How would you know?” he asks with a laugh. “You haven’t even tasted it.”
And he’s right. You scrunch your nose up when you glance down at the bowl.
He sighs and you can practically hear when he pinches his nose bridge in frustration. You snap your hands away defensively when his fingers crawl over yours and tug the chopsticks free from your grip. The rope still rests in his lap, but he has made no effort to retrieve it.
He scoops up a few slices and holds his hand beneath the meat before he offers it to you. “Open.”
Your breathing turns ragged and you shake your head. It’s not pork.
Jiaoqiu’s eyes flash in warning. “Open your mouth.”
You refuse again.
“I will tell you what it is after you finish,” he says. You’re not sure if it is a promise. He could very well lie to you again. You’re not well versed in reading him despite being forced to be around him more than you are alone. “Eat.”
So, after a moment, and when you see his eye twitch, you quickly allow him to slip whatever poison he’s given you on your tongue.
And of course, it’s delicious. That’s not the issue. You’re sure Jiaoqiu could make a sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and literal dirt plucked from his front garden taste delicious if he tried. It’s salted correctly, there’s hints of spice, and the wine sauce melts on your tongue like butter.
He murmurs bouts of praise as he collects more slices to feed you. Your stomach turns when you accept them.
It’s made even worse when the bowl is finally empty, Jiaoqiu kisses your cheek, and then he stands and offers you his hand after packing away the dishes. You take it because you have no other choice. Discomfort whittles your bones, and you feel them wither and weaken with every step.
Your feet are heavy as if you wear shoes of led. The food sits comfortably in your now filled stomach, but the thought of it makes you squeamish.
He leads you away from the kitchen. Like typical, you’d assume he’d take you to the couch where he’d then curl his tail around you. Sometimes he’d fall asleep, especially when his ears twitched as the seasons changed, and you used to soothe over the soft fur with a finger.
Instead, he guides you to his bedroom. This isn’t unusual either. The look you must have on your face alerts him.
“You did say you were tired,” he reminds with a small smile. His tail brushes against the back of your leg.
“Right,” you respond. “Uh…” You glance at the bathroom door in the corner. You make a move to step toward it to brush the taste of his dishes from your mouth when you stop. “You didn’t tell me–”
“I think it’s best if we settle in for tonight together,” he cuts in.
“You didn’t tell me what the meat was,” you finish.
Jiaoqiu grins once, but it’s wry as he takes your face into his hands. “You didn’t like it?”
“It was fine,” you answer meekly. “I always like your food.”
“Good.” He brushes past you and makes for the bathroom first. “In that case, you wouldn’t mind having another friend for dinner tomorrow.”
You perk up. “Really?” You blink once, twice, and dont catch how his smile ticks up. “I don’t mind.” You stare at the floor for a moment. Visitors sounded nice. You haven’t seen anyone for some time now. “What about Moze? I haven’t seen him in a while.”
Jiaoqiu halts before the doorway to the bathroom. His hand rests on the doorframe. “I can organise for Moze to visit, if you want.” He turns for a moment, and there’s a wicked grin across his face.
You smile softly.
His tail curls with delight. “You are just the sweetest little thing.”
He enters the bathroom and locks the door.
It’s only then when it hits you.
And for the rest of the night, while he holds you tight in his arms and lays gentle kisses on the nape of your neck, and forbids you from emptying your stomach forcefully, you cry.

Do you guys often get dreams of those that are deceased? My dream last night was weird.
It was a hospital setting where we were talking deliha into the doctor. She had a broken leg, and we carefully put her into a heavy-duty cat bag. For some reason, I remember the vet being some exotic animal one, not one for cats or dogs. Not like that matters in a dream. All of the patients at the vet were humans. I didn't want to go. I was scared something would happen to deliha. That the surgery would go wrong and such a simple ailment would lead to her death. To the operating rooms, it was a roped off path like one would see for a line at an event. Rushing past all of the surgery rooms, we stopped at the room she was in. It was too late, I was crying and I had lost somebody so special to me.
I don't remember much else then walking home defeated, the path was made out of hydrangeas coming out out of the water. One misstep and you would get your feet wet.
It's not the first dream I've had of her, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Dreams are fleeting and of a world that seems to make up lies to cope with the truth.
Another recent dream was simple, the euthanasia didn't work. She was fine after, it was botched and she kept breathing and everything was fine.
I was working on some requests for the count, Kuro, and gear, but someone was talking about the count's reason for doing everything to Kuro. I was 😯 when I read it.

Yandere Dottore taking care of sick reader but making the reader more sick on purpose so they never leave
Very well^^
Warnings: Mentions of overdose, talks of real medicine.
You felt terrible. Every part of your body feels heavy and painful. You leaned against the railings of Zapolyarny Palace, gazing at the snowflakes that fell through the sky.
'How ironic..' you thought to yourself. You were an adventurer and yet here you are, suffering from an incurable disease. Just walking out of your room is already enough to make your legs weak. You were lucky to be Dottore's lover, having the most knowledgeable man in Teyvat finding a cure for your sickness makes you feel relieved. You still make sure to remind him to take breaks, he may have lived for over a hundred years but he still needs to take care of himself too.
"What do you think you're doing out here? You know 'I' will be upset if 'I' find out you're forcing yourself to move around."
You turned to see one of Dottore's segments, Theta. His red eyes pierced against yours through his mask, you can see the corner of his lips turn into a frown.
"I've been bed-ridden for months now, Theta. At least let me look at the world again instead of the walls of my room."
Theta could only rolled his eyes as he went towards your figure and gently picked you up, placing one arm behind your back and the other under your knees.
"You adventurers and your fascination in exploring. No wonder 'I'..."
You heard Theta mutter under his breath, making you look at him in curiosity as he began to carry you to Dottore's laboratory. Once inside the laboratory, you felt yourself shiver from the cold. You used to be unaffected by the cold temperature in your lover's lab back when you were still healthy, you're starting to wonder if you would ever recover from this disease.
Theta gently put you down on the examining table, placing a pillow under your head and covering you with a thick blanket before calling out for Dottore.
"Ah, Theta, thank you for bringing them. You can leave us now."
Theta only nodded in return as he left the laboratory to go finish his tasks. You watched as Dottore made his way to you, placing his hand on your head and gently caressing your hair.
"How are you feeling, dearest?"
Dottore asked as he removed his gloves before placing the back of his hand on your forehead, checking your temperature.
"My body still feels heavy and weak but I was able to walk out of my room. I guess it's good news that I'm slowly recovering?"
You could hear Dottore tut in disapproval as he made his way to his desk to grab a syringe and a vial, putting the liquid content inside the syringe. You don't know what's in the vial but Dottore assured you that it was your medicine.
"I thought I told you that you're not allowed to overexert your body. Are you dismissing my worry for you, pet?"
You sat up and were about to retaliate when Dottore suddenly pierced the syringe into your arm without warning, making you wince in pain. Dottore only hummed as he injected the medicine into your veins before pulling the syringe away from your skin, your blood slowly trickling down from your wound due to his aggressive actions.
"I just.. want to.. explore again.."
Was all that you were able to mutter out before you felt your vision becoming blurry and a massive headache started to form. You leaned against Dottore and breathed heavily, a nauseous feeling overtaking you. Your arms and legs felt an intense amount of pain, you wanted to move but your body is too numb to do so.
You began to hear numerous voices whispering in your ears, telling you to run, it scared you. Your heart started to beat faster as you looked around the room to see multiple shadows approaching you from every corner. You wanted to scream but you can only choke out a sob, drool falling from the corner of your lips while tears fell down your cheeks.
"Calm down, dearest. Deep breaths. There you go."
Dottore cooed as he rubbed your back. You followed his instructions and took slow, deep breaths.
"I-it hurts, Dottore.. everything hurts.."
Dottore held your chin between his thumb and forefinger before lifting it up to make you look at him. He smirked once he looked at your painful expression, gently wiping away your drool with his thumb.
"As long as you listen to me, everything will be okay. Put your trust in me, dearest."
You could only nod in return as you felt your eyes becoming heavy. Dottore's continuous rubs on your back becoming a soothing rhythm as you fell asleep. The last thing you saw was the vial that contained the medicine Dottore injected you with.
Levofloxacin...?
A dark chuckle was heard from Dottore as he put the syringe away before looking at your passed out self. The door to the laboratory was opened as Theta walked inside along with another segment following him.
"You called for us, Prime?"
"Ah, yes. Theta, Iota, I will be assigning you two to hide away all of (y/n)'s files from the adventurer's guild. (y/n)'s adventuring days are over. Besides, it's much more safer for them to be by my side instead of exploring by themselves."
"As you wish."
Dottore gently laid you back down on the examining table before grabbing a clean cloth and wiping the blood that trickled down your arm. Theta and Iota quietly left the room while Dottore placed a bandage on your puncture wound.
"You might think I'm being too overprotective of you.. but I assure you that I'm doing this for you, dear. You'll come to understand that being an adventurer always ends up with someone dying and I can't risk that. You're too precious for me that I will do anything to stop you from your job."
Dottore picked up the vial he used as he began to chuckle darkly. Reading its contents before throwing the empty vial in the trash.
"Levofloxacin.. such a dangerous medicine it is. Overdose of this medicine will cause nerve damage to the arms and legs. Other side effects would include nausea, hallucinations, nightmares and seizures."
Dottore hummed as he caressed your cheek, a large grin forming across his face.
"Slowly but surely, a certain dose of levofloxacin will make you paralysed. And then you have no one else to turn to except me. But don't worry.. I'll protect you with my life, dearest."
