         Now, that was quite a joyful way to make this girl land back in the real life, instead of keeping her head on the clouds as always. Although, the rudeness and rough words from the stranger caused the opposite effect — Bridget body’s stays frozen, scared for a matter of seconds before realizing the other’s order. Clumsily, she drags her feet to the right as her arms fold around her chest. 

        ❝ I’m…I’m s-sorry. I didn’t k-knew you were there.  ❞

  Nobody had ever described her as polite. She was the one who didn't think twice before elbowing her way through a crowd, or loudly announcing how awful someone's dye job was--and she liked it that way. Polite didn't get you what you wanted in life, as whoever this girl was should realize. Casper rolls her eyes lightly, moving into the spot the girl had previously occupied, eyebrows arching in response at her statement.

  There was something about this guy--he wasn't the first person to come in looking out of sorts, but something about the expression on his face felt wrong. Almost as if it the expression had never crossed it before; he wasn't supposed to be able to be sad. It took a moment of hesitation, not wanting him to get the wrong idea or anything, before a sigh crossed her lips and she scooped up a bag of slightly old cookies. The ones she was meant to get at the end of the day. Sometimes, she was too nice for her own good.

  "Hey, red. You want these? They're goin' in the trash anyway."
