this is essentially a very long shitpost of some of my questions/ideas/theories about what the hell is happening in the universe of twf. as i’ve been watching some popular theorists, there are just some things that don’t add up and aren’t being picked up on. however, like it is said in the lucky you video, we do not have nearly enough to figure out the whole story, and this is just a shot in the dark.

1. In tape 2, why the hell is sophie’s name even mentioned? from what I’ve gathered, it’s likely a tape that felix made in order to remember those he had killed. so why is her name on there? did he think he killed her? or does the tape mean something different? it’s a little weird, especially because this is a video strictly from ashley’s pov, unlike tape 3 where it’s obviously meant to get sophie to remember some of her past.

2. I do believe that the jumpscare with sophie in tape 1 during the little bon and friends animation was a jump to the future. the whole “he thought I was her” thing might be an allusion to her getting closer to the company to figure out what truly happened. 

3. Also in tape 1, there is a distinct difference in bon’s eyes compared to other times. When before brian is killed, the eyes are very human-like, compared to other times when they are obviously robotic. There is also the emphasis on how bon’s eyes are very damaged in tape 2, as well as the visual that the eyes are taken out. This is what leads me to think that bon is used more so as a suit to put on. 

4. I do not think jack is in bon, for multiple reasons. One, it’s just too easy. It’s the cheap option out, and based on what Martin has created so far and plans to create, it’s just unrealistic. I would be more plausible if this were a short 5 part series, but no. we are getting 9 more episodes full of more story. Two, why the hell would Jack actively want to kill his wife and daughter? Three, it’s never directly alluded to that Jack is the one in the suit, and if theres actually anyone in the suit at all. All of the other characters have a direct link/connection to the fact that they are the ones in the suit. I do think jack is dead, but never was put in a suit. like molly and ed, possibly could be showbear? not sure about that one. 

5. I’m so confused about the “shadow man feeds me when its dark”. does this mean some are still alive and felix literally has to feed them? is the shadow in sha’s portion of tape 2 this shadow man, or is it sophie? it’s pretty obvious that sophie witnessed her mother’s murder, and has had the memories repressed. is the shadow man sophie? are there differences in the shadows? ugh idk, hopefully we get more clues in the next tape
