I play a mostly CC-free game but I’ve also included a list of the tiny amount of “Maxis match” CC that I use, so if you download my lots and you have these things installed the houses should look like they do in the previews. 😊

Can you believe the Sims 2 is over 20 years old!? It will look like it’s hardly aged a day after you put these defaults in. 🤭 I also recommend Reshade for a truly up-to-date experience.

Because neighbourhood effects were never designed to be seen in lot view, there are a few minor issues you should be aware of. I'll have to get into some technical details, so I'm leaving all the nerd stuff below the cut.

Also, I'm not so sure about Cinema Secrets. It looks nice in night, but I don't like how bright the lighting can be, especially when items are lit near light. I might think about going back to Dreadpirates lighting mod later.

The Veronaville map is called "Europe" in Sim City 4 (after importing it straight from #TheSims2 folder)

While I love the original Bigfoot, I always felt he was just a little underwhelming, like Maxis didn’t go far enough from just a regular Sim. So I set out to fix that using @synapticsim‘s Beast Mesh, which is a similar to the HBB shape, but broader & with the added bonus of claws! Because who doesn’t love claws? Now Bigfoot can feel less like some dude, & more like a Cryptid, who could lift you without a thought.

For Bigfoot’s work-wear, I took the jeans off Syn’s Store Vest conversion, for something not so far from the original look. But if you’re after something a little more dapper, I made an alternate version, with Syn’s conversion of MDP’s Corporate Supervisor suit instead.
