Victuuri on Ice

Victor, for the most part, is very bad at surprises, as he tends to struggle to hide his giddiness when it comes to Yuuri. However, for Yuuri’s birthday, Victor used this to his advantage - dropping ‘accidental hints’ about the huge surprise party he was planning, that Yuuri was secretly dreading, so it was an amazing surprise when Yuuri was guided to the place the party was supposedly happening, and it turned out Victor had planned a private, romantic dinner for just the two of them.

Victor loves planning dates where either he or Yuuri try something new. This has, in turn, led to some of the best and worst dates of their relationship. 

Once the season was over, Yuuri and Victor took a couple’s trip (read: late honeymoon) travelling through Europe. They challenged themselves to visit one ice rink in every country and make up mini routines on the spot competing with one another. The final stop of the trip was, of course, Barcelona. 

Victor keeps a photo of Yuuri in his wallet at all times, and he will often pull it out to show off mid-boast about his boyfriend to anyone and everyone who will listen. 

Victor often sings around the house in Russian. It always makes Yuuri swoon a little to hear. The issue comes in that Yuuri is still a beginner in Russian, and has no idea 90% of the time, Victor is making up his own very inappropriate words to songs. 

At the start of their relationship, when Yuuri was still growing accustomed to Victor’s clingy nature, Victor would often try and hug or hold Yuuri whilst Yuuri was cooking. Yuuri, as a result, would get flustered and scold him for being in the way. It once resulted in Yuuri knocking over a whole pan of curry onto the floor and they had to just get pizza delivered for dinner and made up over it. Now, pizza is their go-to ‘make up’ or ‘apology’ dinner. 

Yuuri has a habit of puffing out his cheeks or chewing the inside of his cheeks when he is frustrated with something, and Victor quickly picks up a habit of poking or pinching Yuuri’s cheek lightly to get him to snap out of it. 

I have this headcanon that Yuuri is very talented at making wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) and is particularly good at making Namagashi, which are traditional sweets served during a traditional tea ceremony.So, while Viktor was out training and Yuuri had the day off, Yuuri made Namagashi and served it with matcha as a treat for Viktor for his hard work. Viktor almost found it too hard to eat such beautifully crafted masterpieces and only managed to eat when he realized that Yuuri might think that he didn’t want to. Not only were they beautiful but they tasted great too. 

My headcanon is that Viktor is a really composed person and a calm human being when it comes to serious situations. He doesn't laugh, doesn't shout, nor he smiles. And if someone hurts Yuuri, like bringing him into a panic attack, he just freaks out and looks at that person like he wants to burn them in Hell. It's just a totally different side of him.
