I want a Skywarp that is more than a prankster. I want him to be a ferocious fighter. I want autobots to have to plan around his teleportation. I don’t need him to be cunning and calculating, he can still be impulsive and unserious—but put some weight to the calculations/logistics of his teleportation. Would a competent and calculating Starscream want a Trinemate that’s just stupid and a troublemaker?

I want a Thundercracker that isn’t just a sweetheart author. I want a Thundercracker that didn’t just get his name from his outlier/sigma ability, but also cause his battle cry is like roaring thunder to his enemies. I want a Thundercracker strong enough to both break up fights, and end them. I want all of this to not make him cruel, and for what kindness he does have to not drown out that he can intimidate people. Would ferocious and feared Starscream want a Trinemate that’s sympathetic and unwilling to fight?

Moreover, I want a Starscream that genuinely cares about his Trine. I want a Starscream that will drag his Trinemates to the medics when they get injured, and won’t let their injuries be ignored. I want a Starscream that is offended by anyone who tries to belittle his Trine because How DARE you insult his chosen Trinemates. Historical figures—all the Greats and the Terribles—often had people around them that they cared about and were very kind to. Would these two follow Starscream as Trineleader if they weren’t confident in him?

I want a Thundercracker that is strong and tough enough to support his Trine. I want a Skywarp that is fierce and tricky enough to fight for his Trine. I want a Starscream that is competent and ferocious enough to lead his Trine.
