Teen Wolf TikTok is the most irritating fucking thing in the history of the world. Like I’m so fucking serious. Like I’m a Sterek, Sciassic, and Thiam shipper and have been for years.

Now everyone is fine with Sciassic and thiam but dear lord you can’t escape the sterek hate it’s literally everywhere.

Like yes it’s on the sterek edits but literally all day I’ve been watching teen wolf edits cuz I’m back in my teen wolf phase and all that and everywhere I turn it’s there, and sometimes people are hating on it on a post that’s not even fucking about them!!

And like those edits where it’s couples/ships from canon and fanon and people in the comments are like “oh thank god you didn’t include sterek” sjgiwixitjjw.

and it’s like super present on Sciassic and thiam edits saying how they are superior or something.

And also people saying that Sciassic are the OGs or thiam are the OGs, when Sterek was genuinely the backbone of the fandom for years? Like yes I love those guys but ignoring stereks entire existence and its impact on the show/fandom is childish.

Like I get these type of ships not being some people’s things but holy fucking hell can we stop acting like fucking children? Acting like we’re condemning for shipping them and then ACTIVELY calling shippers pdfs?!?! Like what the hell??? And for those who don’t know about the show or ship, let me confirm, it is absolutely nothing like that. And who the hell just goes and throws that word around when it has actual meaning.

When did we forget that fiction and reality are too different things? Why are we acting like fictional ships define who you are as person (and this being genuinely one of the least problematic ships out there). When did we disregard “don’t like don’t read/interact.”

Also it’s not just on TikTok, I was teen wolf Reddit a few years back and it’s so fucking bad there too

I’m a pro shipper (in case anyone who follows me didn’t know that yet) and I respect people who are simply like “yeah, those ships and stuff isn’t really my thing but I’m not gonna judge or really just get involved”. Like yes. You do you, I do me. We could get along just fine.

But the antis, the ones who blatantly spew bullshit and hate and judgement are so fucking annoying.

Would they wonder if that could’ve been them if they had given it a chance? If they put their hearts on the line instead of keeping it close to their chests?

Would Garrett think that maybe he wasn’t imagining the look in Logan’s eyes all those times when he thought Garrett couldn’t see him?

And would Logan think that maybe if he put himself first and said what he wanted that Garrett maybe would’ve said yes?

Would they think that maybe they had almost made it, made it past best friends, the person the other relied on the most, who was their other half and become all of that but also being the person they fell asleep next to each night and they would wake with the next morning? The person they would swear to love through sickness and in health, till death to they part?

Do you think wonder that maybe the wouldn’t be texting each other “dude” or “bro” but “baby” and “gorgeous”. Do you think they look at their wives and throw the box and all its feelings away into the attic? Do you think they go to sleep next to women they’re not sure they loved in anyway past platonic and try their damned hardest not to imagine what their life could’ve looked like?
