yknow what yeah. i DO enjoy having niche and hyper specific interests for its own sake sometimes. ill fess up. there IS something inherently fun about the possibility of being able to reasonably be like "oh i found this decent band from mongolia the other day" "oh is it the hu?" "no" and everyone is like WHAT because who the hell knows anything about mongolian bands that aren't the hu and then i just pull out this pretty decent group. and then everyone is like how did you even find this because its not your usual sound and you just have to be like "well Mongolian is written with Cyrillic and I misspelled something written in Kyrgyz which is also written with Cyrillic (on purpose for my book for my fantasy language [written in Cyrillic]) and this song came up" and everyone is like "how does this even happen" cause who does that. none of this actually happens because everyone is very used to my bullshit by this point.
anyway that's how i found this song. you should listen to it. the world is so small but it's also very dense and rich and honestly pretty cool
