It's true! At some point of our lives, we will experience this what we call Quarter Life Crisis. Where we feel like nothings right happening in our lives and we are afraid of our future because of the current situation. (I sometimes think of getting married and escape this stage pero wala nga pala kong jowa 😂). We wanted to do this and that. We wanted to do what we wanted to do. Jumping to the next season to escape the present. Doing things on our own to get satisfaction and validation from the others that we forget our purpose, irl. . But when we turn our Bible to John 15:1-5, it states that apart from God we can do nothing. Yes, we can be successful but sometimes contentment hunt us. We crave for more. We wanted more. And this, remove us from real happiness, peace of mind and true richness. . "Remain in Me". An intimate relationship with God gives us what we lack. Filling the emptiness inside us and provides what we need, bonus is what we want. "To bear fruit- fruit that will last". Investing our lives to others to grow in Christ-likeness is an accomplishment that gives us satisfaction. Our real purpose. Our true richness. . In verse 16, another promise to hold.
