Will Alicent and Rhaenyra ever take sole responsibility for their actions?
Or will we have another season whose tagline is "men are ever to blame, women are ever the victims"? (Woman writer here)

Ryan Condal and Sara Hess: "Rhaenyra is our heroine. She's a strong, independent woman, courageous, with the spirit of a king. She's not afraid to take action, and she doesn't need saving; she saves herself."
RC and SH also: "So, what kind of shark jump are we going to invent this week to keep Rhaenyra out of the action?"
The funny thing about the scene where Corlys (and others in past) accuses Rhaenyra's children of being bastards is that, legally, the illegitimate children are probably actually Aegon III and Viserys II. Laenor had agreed to assume paternity, and that made them legitimate in the eyes of the law, but Daemon's two children were born of a polygamous marriage, or at least one not recognized by the faith.
The scene in Toy Story 5 where the fact that the devices need batteries to function at full capacity is presented as a flaw compared to the toys is particularly funny because in reality half of Andy/Bonnie's toys have batteries, including Buzz, Woody, Jessie...
Do Rhaenyra and Alicent suffer from some kind of personality disorder?
This series doesn't have a showrunner? It feels like each episode is written by a different person, unaware of how they behaved in the previous episode.

Meghan Markle perfect casting? (Adria Arjona)

It's a good thing Condal and Hess want to portray Rhaenyra as a strong, independent woman with the spirit of a king... She couldn't behead her worst enemy without bursting into tears; she ascended the throne weeping and trembling... an excellent image for the court. Alicent seemed the strongest and most dignified in the final seconds. Imagine what we would have had if she hadn't been their favorite.
I feel so sorry for Rhaena, who will surely be accused in the next episode of destroying half the Velaryon fleet, killing Jace, and putting Baela at risk as well.
She doesn't deserve it and had all the good intentions in the world, but there's undeniable truth to these accusations. She disobeyed, rushed into battle on an untrained dragon that doesn't even fully obey her practically immediately after riding it, and made matters worse.
On the one hand, I wish they'd just dismiss it all with the classic "it's not your fault." On the other hand, given the context and the consequences of her choices, if she wasn't at least held accountable, it wouldn't be great writing (not that HotD's writing is good, so...)
Don't take this the wrong way, but watching the French national team I can't help but laugh at how it's absolutely not a problem, in fact it's a sign of progress, civilization, etc. If you disagree even in the slightest, you're a bad person... but if we saw the same thing for an Asian or African national team, the reaction would be "there's something wrong, let's leave these countries to their people instead of colonizing them in a modern way."

When remake an anime from your childhood in a high-tech version... and all you can think is: these girls steal, one of them is engaged to the head of the investigation, yet they walk around barefaced, barearmed, with their hair down, and even with their bare hands? Cameras, fingerprints, facial recognition, DNA... Nothing?
How awful it feels to grow up.
Seeing Rhaena flying from the valleys of Eyre to the seas of Dragonstone in a matter of hours at most is a pleasant reminder of the last seasons of GoT, where everyone seemed to have acquired the power of teleportation.
A small thing, but I couldn't help but groan with embarrassment when they gave Rhaenyra the famous Elizabeth I quote...when her writing so far is so clearly limited by being a woman and by Condal and Hess's subsequent desire to put herself on a different plane from D&D's Daenerys, of which the draining "female friendship/female support/sisterhood/queerbaiting" between her and Alicent is only the most obvious symptom.
Am I the only one who found Toy Story 5 truly banal and confusing?
Blah blah, technology is bad. Blah blah, real life is better. Which is like telling animators, blah blah, how awful digital is, better when you did everything by hand.
By the way, the plot is also ironic/hypocritical: playing outside is better... but please, parents, take your kids to the cinema and then sit them in front of the screen in your house to watch our films. Just as it's quite ironic that those who praise the theme of this film...on social media.
It would be interesting if every now and then something came out that showed how the internet/social media/forums have also improved the lives of many children and teenagers, opening up new possibilities, discovering new hobbies, perhaps inspired by all those stories of kids who were isolated because no one shared their passions and interests.
The first season of Good Omens was pure genius.
The second was the plagiarism of the plagiarism of the plagiarism of fan fiction.
The "third" is embarrassingly banal.
Why are shows that seriously need a second season canceled, and perfect miniseries forcibly extended for fanservice?

This year, the men's Roland Garros brought me nothing but pain and disappointment.
At least the women's tournament partially compensated with some joy amidst the disappointments.
Congratulations to Sorana Cîrstea, who has never had a better year than this, at 36 years old and just months away from retirement. It's never too late to get some satisfaction.
