Just to update you,

Have still no romantics

Manila’s temperature did not able to stop our ambitious idea of OOTD! We did not care if we are sweating and closely melting inside on our outfits because the only factor that triggers us is that WE ARE ATTENDING MANILA’S FASHION FESTIVAL! It’s a big deal - totally!

Wearing a customize oversized sweater made by Nick De Guzman - It’s a DEAN inspired look actually! At the bottom I’m wearing a silk shorts with tights from MINT paired with my T.U.K Creepers featuring a fishnet socks and a bowler Hat from F21Men.

Forgotten that it’s already summer in the country, but damn don't care! Bet this kids aren’t for Philippine weather!

As much us the sun strikes, our outfit strikes even more lit, literally BURNING!

Instincts of new designs visualizing The next step for the fashion scene here in Manila. From our local Filipino designers who crafted new creations that could bring up fashion in more progressive and open-eyed visuals of street fashion and classic pieces.

Designs of Sassa Jimenez: The night was a lit experience from Sassa Jimenez who brought us first to forth modern whimsy with a touch of classy femme-ness. 

The next collections was a total lit from Chris Diaz, Renan Pacson, Brit Tripudio and Jun Jun Ablaze who totally bring out the ‘out from the box’ visuals and designs of modern fashion.

Indeed the night was filled with productivity, Its like I went out a restaurant full! I was super inspired and fulfilled that I cant even wait to wear some of the pieces soon, promise!

Your town has numerous “the same people” and I know some of you (include me) tries to be different at some point. Some lies on the normal side for them to get the comfort from the normal eyes and some deals with the extraordinary judgement and glary looks who wants to intimidate your confidence.  And I can say I am on that side, getting those intimidating looks felt normal already, it is much more satisfying to get out into the normal box, trying the extraordinary than staying inside the comfort lies.

What I am just trying to say is that the society only sees the appreciation when it’s “normal”. But, carelessly here I am wearing some precisions I don't ever doubted. Vintage had never died into me, This bomb vintage print jacket that I got from a thrift shop is better than those tagged items from branded stores. I don’t mean anything but the point of just settling on the “normality” is like an effortless move to make yourself a “ sense-full” individual, you know what I mean?

Btw, my blog doesn't always have something to say, its more on something to show -- a new DIFFERENCE, out from your “NORMAL” ways.... very leandro!

DSLR’s are such big cameras and Im afraid I can’t deny it - I appreciate the quality of the photos DSLR’s can bring you but I admit its a bit hassle to carry and needs full effort to bring it from one place to another. But thank heavens Oppo f1s is here to the rescue!  This new phone has a something good to offer more specially in the quality of photos it can bring you.

I had a huge “WOW” on the phone’s camera ability, well if you would compare its as good as a DSLR quality of photos.

Basically the price is reasonable but it leads to to worth it experiences more over to its quality! Oppo f1s has extravagant features that makes it a phone-worthy for someone like me who has a kind of  “picture-picture” lifestyle

“Little do you know that I’m easily haunted by all those memories and little do you know how I wonder how to pick my self piece by piece once again.” This may be very irrelevant for anyone who enjoys happiness around them. But sometimes away from feeling hurt can make you forget to realize your growth as an independent individual. You may suffer now but someday you will thank that ‘heartache’ because it made you somehow to be tougher than you think you can be able to be. Those honest lines you accepted means something - and that is your strength to digest something inedible for you but you still do. It may sound like so foolish but it will make you absorb something to learn that may able to help you grow.

For once you can be a fool, but the next time, just act like you’re a fool but in your head you know your wiser and better than what you are before. Over thinking is our favorite toxic. We matter something isn’t that much worthy more than the things we should take worth for, and it happens all the time. 

And I’m still here breathing the air you took away. It still keeps me alive eventually its just these corners and hard bricks makes me wonder what I had been doing and what I have done on my days and it kills me. This walls made me realize my worth and value. If its “hanggang dito nalang talaga” then stick it.

But of course once you take a step forward you must not turn back. Past are past. It is like a lesson in class, you can repeat it just to review but never tag at it again. We cannot go back… we can only go on. 

But don’t mind this late night feelings that are not present at day….

TURNING NEW PAGES 

Usually I wear unbelievable mash ups of clothing ideas whenever I go out or go somewhere where I need to extra effort the “Fashion idea”. But sometimes I do feel lame putting up so much into my OOTD. It’s not how you think or see me taking this seriously, actually I just had to take 5 minutes just staring at my closet for me to came up what perfect layers and styling I could put for the day. And now I do feel lame - but I did not let that  fall out from my taste, of course!

My top looks are pull out inspirations from my new kicks my dad wished me to have, the SK8-HI pretty classics of Vans which are easy to mix up with what they call “basic” outfits. I labeled each brands on the photo, hope it could also tune up small / big ideas for your next OOTD plan 

Im not a skater-boy and I’m not trying to be, its just this look fits the streetstyle anthem that can be labeled as one of those “skater-boys”. Real talking, my styling comes up on what is fitted for the day’s event or what my body comfort feels but usually its on my mood. The idea just cracks inside my head that I should wear this and that and if this jacket fits the party, and this Coat can slay the night, stuffs like that. Me and my picky eyes deliberate whenever I open the closet and find something to wear for today. Its funny but I instantly can relocate myself (ofcourse inside my imagination only) imagining how I would look walking on the street with the outfit that I was thinking. That’s how I work on that part.

But today I’m just being boyish. Maybe this could make someone beat their hearts again. haha kidding!

What do I do on a grocery?

I did not expect I could take snaps while I’m at the grocery. Things are been so serious whenever we are there! And I realize that “grocery-ing” can be a little bit exciting! Of course you have to choose a perfect spot, Its funny if you’ll take snaps on the Fishery Section right?

Sometimes I think nonsense things just like this, I don’t know and I’m not sure  why am I sharing this on my blog but just want this simple errands be sometimes eventful, I mean, something productive - even if its totally not. 

I really love checking out the sweets and imported noodle section every time on a grocery. I can see sparks on them (if u know what i mean? *wink*) So if I were you, don’t leave me alone on a grocery because if I got my camera on, EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

The world had already transform into a wide variety of fashionable pieces from head to toe, from caps, shirts, pants and those stuffs you wear on your feet! Some in Asia like China, Japan, and Korea had already shown the fashion world a new dimension of where fashion can take us - AND Manila never fail to follow up onto this new dimension of fashion aesthetics

A local brand had just prove that MANILA can satisfy a fashion-thirsty pips like me (hehe!) And I was totally amaze of the brand’s designs, more specially on their Mandals! It’s total new step of transforming the idea of how you could wear not just simple sandals, but EXTRAVAGANT one on the streets! Ranroe Brand had just set a new standards for androgenic foot wears in the market!

Ranroe’s curious roots of creativity establish the brand to change something out from the box. And I’m lucky to be wearing one of their out from the box crafts, surely made people looking at my feet rather on my face! 

Got mine, and its a masterpiece 100%! The Mandals are easy to walk, it feels like your wearing boots actually and it’s just perfect pair for a kick-ass day!

But the main point of this post is to raise attention on supporting LOCAL BRANDS like RANROE here in our country! Be the RANROE in this world full of simple ;)

Sometimes, instead of picking layers and layers of clothes, there are days that you would just like to pick “the easy way” and for me the easy way is the “vintage way”

This Stranger Things Series made me do it! Believe me or not I am so obsessed with their production design with their custom layers of vintage styling! That’s why I feel like I’m either one of Will’s friend or Jonathan’s brother. But I just cant get enough of how I am influenced by vintage that’s why I think I’ll post a look for it :)

Recently, I got a usual comfort feeling whenever I tuck my shirt in. I massively love this look, tucking my shirt in feels like I don’t care what normal is! 

Thankful for ARTWORK “I stole my dad shirt” collection” for my shirt and Ralph Lauren Jeans who really satisfied this vintage look! And Damn! God Bless Vintage!

So, I guess...

We are here for some reasons we can’t explain right away. And maybe we’ll never know most of them. I want to film it well everyday cause my life’s scenarios are ain’t just boring. People look happier, but what happened to me?Well I guess it’s just the optimistic minds of my fellow humans are more active than mine. And this world became a new word for despair

but as it grew into me, I knew that I am....

I am all my groans

and I am all of my happiness

and like a cycle it repeats everyday - the love and the hatred towards me.

And the sometimes of always, I really really hate myself.

And I wish I could love myself

Epilogue on Stage was totally a different kind of concert experience I've ever had! It took me for almost 2 weeks to think of what outfit to wear for that night! There was a huge brainstorm inside my head if I’ll go all white outfit or all black outfit then it turns out to wear pastel colors - For the first time! So technically it was all a first time kind of experience cause its my first time (well its not my first time to see a concert but.... ) to see a KPOP concert! Anyways, So here’s how my outfit turned out

This yellow Blazer is now my new fave! This blazer is printed with handmade Picasso painting which I paired with a pastel pink pants

While the show is running I put over this bomb net jacket

And the true bomb is the fans who are so wild and energetic which made this concert experience unforgettable! it was a vice versa feeling that BTS made our night and we as fans made BTS night completely! All of those screams and sing along moments plus JIMIN’S ABS! All of these makes this night the best!

It may look like familiar because of Kanye West or more like because of KPOP fashion but boys - right now - wear like this..

You may categorize yourself evolving the version 2.0 when you jump on the style of being minimalist. Well maybe because :

1. Its fresh

2. It makes you look classy and cool

3. (Right now) its out of the mainstream

 Being captivated by minimalistic style creates proper aesthetic 

And makes you an insant head-turner boy in town

Not just creates proper aesthetics but also flat forms of real deal in styling

Put some spice on your shirts and jeans. Add stuffs like jackets, caps, oversized tees and you could pair it with proper colors or to play it safe wear all black or all white

I cant deny, I am fully obsessed to minimalistic fashion!
