Your POV
So, it’s been about two months since I’ve talked with (C/n). He really freaked me out the last time we talked. I guess that’s because he hit so close to home when he said what he did. I just never expected someone to see it so clearly and address it so….boldly.
I’ve seen him walking in the halls and in class, but I just can’t bring myself to talk to him again. He has been trying to talk to me though; he probably wants to drag me through the mud some more. Yeah, there’s no way I’m talking to him anytime soon. Just as I’m deep in my thoughts, thinking about all the things (C/n) might be wanting to tell me, I feel a tap on my shoulder. I’ll admit it, I did jump a bit…..okay, I almost screeched. It was my friend (F/n).
“You okay?”
“Yeah, sorry.” I kinda feel bad. Ever since that incident with (C/n) I’ve just been dumping all of my problems onto (F/n), and she never once complained about it. I’m way too reliant on her, but God am I so glad to have her by my side right now.
“Don’t be.” She sat down next to me at the table. We were sitting in the library; it was about time for the buses to arrive, but me and (F/n) were staying to help the drama teacher with some float he’s been asking students to help him with. “What colors did Mr. Richardson say he wanted the float to be?”
“I think he said red, yellow, and blu-oh my God no.” I quickly move my chair behind (F/n). I had seen (C/n) walk past the library, towards the cafeteria, and thought nothing of it; that is until he backed up and started looking around the library.
“What?”
“It’s (C/n).”
“Oh boy.” She sighed and looked at me. “Look, I understand that you might still feel embarrassed-”
“I’m not embarrassed!” I defended.
“I’m not finished. You’re still embarrassed from what happened, and that’s okay. But you have to talk to him.”
“Why? Obviously he’s just gonna-”
“Because you’re not supposed to let people walk all over you.” She said firmly. “When he comes over here you’re going to have a normal conversation with him, and tell him how uncomfortable his comments made you feel. And if he keeps making comments like that then tomorrow we’ll go to the office and report him for bullying, okay?”
“Can I object?” I ask.
“No.” And just like that, she beckons him over.

Your POV
I thought that, since my best friend is supposed to love me so much, she would stay with me while (C/n) and I talked, but I was wrong. So wrong, in fact she took off as soon as he sat down in front of me. Now we’re just here staring at each other awkwardly.
“So…” He starts, “I know that the last time we talked; things got intense.”
“Yeah.” I responded.
“I um…we…man this is hard.”
“What, trying to find the words to make me feel worse?” Why did I say that? Have I gone mad?
“What? No.”
“Had a good laugh with your friends about it?” Okay, (Y/n), you can stop now.
“No, I-I wouldn’t do something like that.”
“Or maybe you-”
“(Y/n), I’m sorry!” He cuts me off. “I know what I said hurt you a lot. That was clear from the look on your face that day, and I’m sorry. I have this thing where I like to test how far you can push someone mentally or emotionally, and it was wrong. I know. I’m so sorry. You were just so sweet, and adorable, and…..and I wanted to see how much it would take for you to break, but I know now that I never want to see that. I’m sorry, (Y/n), I truly am.”
To say that I’m speechless would be an understatement. I wanna say that I don’t believe him, but the emotion in his voice makes me think otherwise. “Why would you…what makes it so interesting to see something like that?”
“I honestly don’t know, but I’m so-”
“Yeah, I know you’re sorry.” I sighed deeply. A couple seconds passed by before (C/n) spoke up again.
“I know this is asking a lot, but…could we start talking again.” He looks away from me, “I..uh…I-I miss you. A lot. You’re a very fun person to talk to.”
“I thought you were bored of me? What happened to that?”
“I didn’t mean that; that was stupid thing to say.”
“What was that whole ‘looking for your crush thing’?”
“I overheard you and your friend talking once, and I thought talking about crushes and relationships would bring us a bit closer.”
“Can you just…give me some time to think? I don’t know if I’m ready to talk to you like before just yet.”
“Yeah, no, take your time. No rush. Just, please don’t shut me out again. Please.”
“Sure.” After that the bell rang, dismissing the bus riders. Dismissing (C/n).

(I’m really sorry about that last chapter; It sucked I know, but I hope this made up for it. I’ll try and do better from now on. If there’s something that you’d like to happen in the story then please tell me, and I’ll consider adding it. I’ll also write other small stories if any of you have any ideas, but don’t have the energy to write it yourself, so feel free to request things. That’s all for now. Stay safe out there.)
