If Hatsune Miku wasn’t 16 at all then she would be ageless in her character profile like the many other Vocaloids that don’t have assigned ages

If Hatsune Miku was 16 at all times then she wouldn’t sometimes be portrayed as an adult and Crypton wouldn’t support that

Like the actual answer here is that some Vocaloids do have “canon ages,” ages in their character profiles, but due to Vocaloid community’s “free-interpretation culture,” every individual artist who uses the characters is allowed to modify the characters however they want in their work, including changing their age. It’s very simple to understand idk why people are getting it wrong by either going to one extreme or the other 😭😭😭

Also people should stop saying “There’s no Vocaloid canon” because it depends on the Vocaloid characters. Some have actual canon stories but the majority of them don’t have fully fleshed characters because of the precedent set by Crypton with their characters. When people say “There’s no Vocaloid canon” I assume they are basically only talking about Hatsune Miku and her direct friends. Vocaloids like LUMi, anon, kanon, etc. have actual lore lol.
