here lies sunshine valley, california: a forgotten gold rush whisper, in obscurity and perpetuity. there is more than rumor to sunshine valley, but it always seems to be rumors that keep it alive.  after a flash-in-the-pan rise to mediocrity in the 1840s and notoriety in the 1970s, sunshine valley is the place nobody seems to be from and everybody seems to know.  urban legends don’t just knock on the car windows of teenagers or make calls from inside the house, they are alive and well in the shadow of tahoe national forest.  with a fading main street that calls back to the kind of glamour sunshine valley has never actually known, there’s more truth than hearsay when it comes to the old commune and the little college on the edge of town.  the locals call it irony, but apathy and entropy are always ruling principles. g o o d days ✷ is an upcoming, rl site set in sunshine valley, ca hosted on jcink premium.  we’re looking to create a long-lasting, positive community where we can just enjoy writing, each other, and treat this hobby as exactly that!  with lax activity rules and an easy-going staff eager to build something long-term, g o o d days ✷ is somewhere to hang out after work and classes, to write good stories with good people ☀️🌲 our buzz is officially open!!  follow along for all the updates ☀️!

can a prodigal son return if he never left: a memoir;  mom and dad are in in FEDERAL PRISON for embezzlement, fraud and coercion (ok and running a cult ✌️) so u know he’s got more issues than the mf new york times; spent the first 10 years living In A CuLt, then the next 8 with his grandparents who pretended exactly n o n e of that happened!!!   went to private school in heavenly hills to “””straighten him out”””” but ya boi stayed in trouble & in and out of rehab; monty is: disillusioned, excessive, believes life is meaningless!!  AND is bound and determined to make that everybody’s problem!!  living on the commune bc his trust fund doesn’t kick in if he’s dead before 30 (also everybody’s problem); runs an art gallery and occasionally sculpts.. mostly just tries very hard nOT to be looked at as the next leader of the manor despite the namesake and the jawline (while very much the de facto leader of the manor); not over that high school ride or die and about to make that everybody’s problem too
