Fifty followers! Can you believe it? I'm so blessed and grateful for everyone's support as we're flying towards the last few things we need to preview before opening things like the discord and reserves.

That being said, as promised, the plot for the site is now live on our tumblr, it should give an idea of where things have been, and more importantly where they can go, and other ways we can open to play in this little sandbox.

Officially, Betting on Losing Dogs 🐾 is looking to build a team of ideas, and chemistry to turn betting on losing dogs into an inclusive place to build plotlines, connections, and celebrate this thing we all love to do. Not only will we encourage members to plot together, but we will be holding events that will have lasting effects not only on the plot, but on the species we'll offer as we build and grow a community and universe together.

So, you must be wondering, what it is we still need for staff. First off, we're looking for Three to Four admins willing to take this crazy ride, though we may be open to taking on more depending on the applications we get.

No one admin will have any specific role that they are responsible for, though everyone should take on the work of keeping the forum clean and organized, assisting members with answering questions and their needs, and engaging in the discord. What are some things we'd love to see from staff? Well, a wide range of skills and comfort levels is great. Activity is super important as well, as all staff will be required to meet and maintain our activity rules, for their characters as well. Sometimes, there's no perfect outcome or answer for a situation, so we need to be able to all work together in discerning ways to address conflicts, and keep new and fresh ideas coming in.

THE PLOT: Once we officially cross our 50 follower count, we'll go ahead and release the plot for everyone. This should give everyone a better idea of where the setting and our universe stand, and how our initial species fit into the mix. Keep in mind, as we build the storyline on site, the plot will expand and include more events and species as we go.

THE DISCORD: We're also going to have an upcoming release of our discord. We kind of have an idea of when we want to do that, it just kind of depends on a few of these releases rolling out in a timely manner. So expect to hear new updates about this shortly.

noooooo~? To be less vague, honestly vampires in our storyline are essentially immortal and probably the hardest to permanently kill out of all of our current creatures. That being said, because of this they can live indefinitely.

However, much older vampires are going to be increasingly rare. Because vampires depend on strong healthy blood to keep themselves equally strong and healthy, and until recently in human history, this food source would have been in limited supply.

WELCOME TO BOLDRPG ! Betting On Losing Dogs is an in-progress project coming to jcink premium focused on the city of roses: Portland, OR. Follow along as we release new previews, tease some of the cool ideas we have in store for our community, and even expanding our staff team, we want BOLD to be the place you make lasting connections and vibrant storylines as we weave a tale of the things that go bump into the night, as a strange new light is shed upon their world.

Every species has sub-species that you can choose from. Examples? Shape Shifters can also double as Familiars to a witch.

Humans can also be broken down into Hunters, while not specific to "hunting" down supernatural (but you do you), they also can be researchers trying to discover new things about the changing world they all live in now.

Vampires are also broken down into sub groups like vegan-vampires (those that have found a means to survive without having to feed directly from humans, thuse keeping their ananimity).
