With the dying of the old year and the rising of the new, I’m very excited to post my work for @/fodlanfuneral (twitter). This is a piece about Hubert and the mourning of someone who was not kind to you, but who, amid the lows, still provided moments of happiness. I’ve had so many thoughts about his relationship with his father, and how muddled it probably is to detest someone who raised you and just was overall kinda shitty about it. The thing w parents is that they can suck but you can still find yourself grieving.
